I doubt we have a so-called 'big name signing'. We haven't had one of those for a good few years now.
I liked Shenton and think he was hard done by at Saints, getting hardly any service as we routinely attack to our left (when we attack at all that is). There is an assumption that Shenton has done something wrong - or not done something right - and that is why he is leaving. However, it could be that he simply wants to go home. Or it could be that he believes he made a mistake. These things happen.
