There are 1 or two of those your put in the scarey list that If I was a Cas Fan I honestly would not worry about.I won't say who they are but I would say that at least 2 of them would only be squad players in any SL side.

Just wonder what we could have done if Griffin had sorted out his footballing skills and if we had a fair crack of the whip from the man in green.

Cannot fault the performance. We played with grit and determination and gave a real 100% effort. I thought Ferres and Dicko were outstanding. Hudson always impresses me too - he just seems to make more metres from acting half. Perhaps Milner has also found his new role in the halves.

I thought McGoldrick had his best game for Cas I've seen for 2 or 3 years

He certainly threw the match-winning pass



He touched the ball about 100 times, giving 2 or 3 telling passes. a low percentage for a halfback.
He failed to break any tackles and while 3 of his kicks were excellent, 4 of them were poor.
He did OK if your honest

Happy to admit I was wrong in fearing yet another hiding at the hands of Saints. However, I stand by what I said about the absence of Orr, Chase & Clark.

Reckon that had any of those 3 played we would be reflecting on a marvellous victory and 3rd league win on the bounce rather than heroic defeat.

Despite what people have said about McGoldrick having a great game I'd side with Lord Bruce Burton in his view - he had a lot of involvement without creating a great deal. Would be very concerned if we were relying on him as our creative outlet for the rest of the season.
