dixon, McGoldy, Youngy, Griffin in defence. None of these in my eyes are good enough. Arundel is a little better but not much. We lack pace and brain when it comes to attacking outwide. we do one move all the time. Orr to Rangi to Owen to Winger. not good enough. I just hope in 6-8 weeks time when we are back at full strength it gets changed.
Id like to see McG out and Grehan and Arundel at centres with Griffin and erm..... Eden :/ whos stupid idea was it to lose him??? we just aint good enough out wide and wont be without a new signing or 2.
Our pack will improve in time with Milly and Chubs starting. possibly play Emmit and Ferres at second row with Hudson at loose with Walker, Jackson, the lad from Wire and Clarke off the bench. not sure if I missed someone.
we will improve but I dont expect anything until at least week 10 roughly. Until then we need to sit and ride the storm and also hope for easy CC games early until we are back to full strength.
I forgot Holmes and Jones. who both are work horses in defence but lack any real attacking proess. Holmes definitely deservea a spot which would put Emmitt to the bench. Which now starts to show players must fight for positions. Holmes in to 2nd row, then anyones choice of Emmitt, Walker, Jackson, Mitchell, Jones, Massey on the bench.
For next season we have to sign a decent centre three quarter first...it has to be a priority.
I was surprised that Isa wasn't replaced when he left...we only have Arundel as an out & out centre, Mcgoldrick doesn't look to be the answer, Dixon and Youngquest are better wingers and Griffin defence is a worry if we play him there (though his try returns have been pleasing).
I would love to know what Jordan Thompson has done to be overlooked.
heard jordy as said he's not intelligent enough to play centre at first team level,he should be on bench to intrrchange for second row, offers a different option going forward
