Well what an experience. It was daunting walking into the changing rooms but you would struggle to meet a better bunch of blokes. Some real great players played including Hugh wardell, Paul Aitchison, Bright Sodje, Ikram Butt, marquis Charles to name a few. GB all-stars won 18-4 but it was closer than the score suggests. Woolston are a bloody good side. I get to play on quite a lot of the match, rather than sticking me in a position where they hoped I wouldn't get the ball they put me in the front row. I like to think I held my own. I got involved in some attacking moves and quite a bit in defence.
It was all for a charity called life for a kid. I urge anyone to get involved if they can. Any club can pay to play the all-stars. So why not give it a go.
