Crusaders have averaged 5,209 fans at the Racecourse this season, a 1,541 improvement on last year's figure of 3,668. And that figure is expected to soar as Crusaders chase a maiden play-off spot when last year's Super League Grand Final runners up St Helens and Hull KR visit the Racecourse Ground.
And Crusaders RL would like to thank the Welsh public for their continued support throughout the 2010.
My only problem with the crusaders is that when they were in south wales there were truely an expansion team.
Now i think they are sort of for me but i still think a very worth while venture.
A town of near 80,000 the same as Wakefield.
A town looking to become a city thus needing to raise its profile.
An RL foothold is needed south of Manchester/And in Wales.
and for gods sake give them chance to get support and expand the game.
The ventures into Neath were a token gesture and never ever looked at as being a success, rightly or wronly thats how it is.
I would give them another 3 years to prove growth and become sustainable on there own.
Or we can keep bad mouthing them and showing ourselfs up because we have had how long to build a stadium and build on our fan base, Prove me wrong Cas and build the stadium because all we have so far is a dream and some drawings and the word of Richard Honest Wright ( The man who doesnt even respond to emails sent to him by season ticket holders)
