Quote="tigerman1+1"Well done Steve a proper bloke deserving of the award, also to Cllr Box another who has committed his time for the betterment of others..
to you both.....'"
I take it you dont know Cllr Box very well then?
He has re-invented himself (much like New Labour) since his early days in the Labour Party.
I actually do know Peter, he is a friend of the family and as acted as solicitor twice for me in purchaces of homes, that was ofcourse when he was still working in that business, i find him not only a humorous person but an extreemly hard working man, he is doing well in his new chosen political career and i wish him all the best, he is without doubt the best option for this area considering who is or will contest against him.
Mr Box a scholar and Cas fan what more could you ask for. P.S think Steve Prescott truly deserves his award a man with real metal willing to overcome personal illness to help overs another true hero

He first came to my notice as a young conveyancer when I moved house in the 80's. I wasn't very impressed with some of his views which have been suitably polished away in the intervening years. He will remember having a strip torn off him for un-PC language by a 60+ year old woman in the office of Maurice Smith's.
I never found him humorous in the days when I and my pals used to frequent his local, the Hightown.
