I know this is already linked to in another thread, but I felt this statement from PROBIZ deserved a thread of its own.
It's a very interesting read in full, and one which made me open my eyes to what PROBIZ wish to get out of this deal. Many times when sponsors arrive you have some kind of statement of their intent, but usually it's just they want their name on your shirt or advertising boards for the SKY games etc. PROBIZ talk of actually growing the club and aiming high. They talk as if they aren't in this for one season. I'm overwhelmed at the enthusiasm and passion in the statement. I hope every Castleford fan near and far reads this and backs the club they love.
Onwards and upwards!

| It's very positive and very encouraging. I wonder if Ted Richardson's read it.

| Just might be the pessimist in me, but it sounds an awful lot like what Jungle.com were saying a few years back.

With the very real difference that Jungle were part of the dotcom bubble; whilst PROBIZ have evolved in financial markets despite a massive global recession.

| It all does sound too good to be true, i really hope i'm wrong! But then again, building a multi million pound business in 5yrs sounds too good to be true and they've done that.

| As I remember, jungle.com did so well that Andy Singleton (?) was given an offer from GUS that he simply couldn't refuse. They took over the company and it disappeared into the corporate mask of GUS - swallowed up, I think, by the Argos brand.
Great for them, but of course there wasn't the personal interest in all things Tiger from a company whose name could be associated with us any more.
As for PROBIZ, it's looking good - they seem to have a genuine interest in the club. We shall see....

| Personally I think they should make a real statement of intent and bring GI to The Colesium.

| It all sounds really good, but this is not Premier League Football, if he thinks you are going to attract a load of fans from overseas he is not as smart a business man as he thinks he is.
I still think the fact one of his main businesses involves tax efficiency (or is it avoidance) is not necessarily something that ties in with the values of a RL club but thats just my opinion.

| A grand statement indeed and I can understand plenty of us no-nonsense Yorkshire folk treating it with a good deal of skepticism.
It may turn out not to be true but at least he's made a statement of intent which is a lot more than most sponsors have done over the past few years.

If you don't try, you'll never know.

So it's not within the values of an RL club to create wealth and maximise profitability? If the company were specialising in illegal services I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be trading.

| This guy can talk the talk and has got me dreaming of Cas showing up at the big occasions.
Ted Richardson should keep quiet.
