| "Castleford Tigers has announced a significant new club partnership and shirt sponsorship deal with PROBIZ for the 2011 season. The initial one year deal, with an option to extend the agreement, sees PROBIZ replace Metrel who was previously unveiled as shirt sponsor for the forthcoming season.
Metrel has stepped aside as main shirt sponsor in light of the substantial deal put forward by PROBIZ that the club simply couldn't turn down."
No doubt the money for the club will be better, but will the release date of the new shirt now move back from the 11th December til after Christmas, as this isn't stated on the clubs website?

It will be like the wests tigers shirt I had a few years ago. If you turned it inside out and held it up to the light you could see another sponsor underneath. Bloody shirt weighed a tonne too.

| Seems to me your new main sponsors principal activity is helping the rich earn more through tax avoidance schemes. Hardly the most appropriate partner for a RL team in a working class area, where everyone is likely to be feeling the pinch in the current economic climate.

As it appears some more clubs will finding out pretty soon after Wakefield and the Crusaders it appears that some clubs may need to brace themselves, perhaps a sneaky rerason why the rules changed recently on going bust in SL ala Crusaders reforming another new company and name.

Now I took great care not to mention names....
But having some 'avoidance' people onboard RW would be silly not to have a chat with them

| Metrel stepping aside is simply not true. The guy who signed the deal was not authorised to do so and lost his job as a result. Metrel tried getting out of the deal, but the club reminded them the deal was done. I would assume the club have been actively seeking a new shirt sponsor. It would appear the are quite happy to lie to fans. I have known this for some time but chose not to post it, as I don't want to hive the naysayers ammo. Could explain the stadium delays too, iirc metrel were going to sponsor a stand for five years.

'" Practice! Seriously, I thought the club had it sorted. But it would appear they didn't. Then they come out with a load of bull. I know for a fact what I posted is true.
