Good move for me as Govin is out for a minimum for 6 weeks and this means that we have cover at 6. It also means Tom has to prove himself to get in and so adds competition and a fresh face brings something maybe new in to the squad. Has SL experience so should be a decent player.
Would rather us sign a Prop or a Back as feel James will go back to Bradford soon especially as Solomona is out for most of the season and still no good news on Goddard.

I can't believe that people are questioning the judgement of Matt and Martin. They don't seem to have done too bad in their decision making so far

If he's a good tactical kicker I think that is exactly what we need this year. Someone to get you out of trouble and turn the other team round. We have lacked this since Holroyd left and it's essential in the big games.

We were linked with him during the off season. Though he was in need of a shoulder op and was asking for a fair wedge. Probably why he wound up staying at Hudds.

Good cover for Govin, but with Mick's form this season I think he'll be back in the team when fit.

We need a bit of depth anyway at the moment. So a good signing if only for that reason.

It gives beswick, gleeson and penky a break which they haven't had since govin went down.

I dont htink we've missed Holy that much this year. Ben's kicking game has improved 100% from his previous stint with us & he seems to be pretty good at the 40/20's, something Holy didnt really do much.

not to sure about hemingway never really had the talent to break into the giants team, but also chances been limited through other stand offs. i personally cant ever see him been a super league 6, but he has been loyal to us, so good luck tom makes the most of your time at halifax.

Im a giants fan, and every time he has played in super league for us he has been fantastic. Could go very well for you

As much as we all love Gleese making his breaks up the middle of the park with Ben supporting, the main thing that impresses me about him is his defending. He tackles well above his weight & always hits hard, but fair.

Like James Haley, who for me doesn't get enough recognition for giving 100% week in, week out and sticking with the club for so long.
