Id take Higson but doubt any are in our price range. I can't believe they are getting rid of Ridyard, hes twice the player of Reynolds. I expect Fev to be offering silly money to try and entice them especially as they are in the market for a half back and fullback so Ridyard and Mcnally would fit the bill.

To me I can't see the point in any significant new signing unless they are materially better than who we can reasonably expect to get on dual reg. If it is Cas and you look at the fringe players then there is little benefit of spending a great chunk of the players budget for an overpriced individual. its hold your powder time and see how things pan out.

I guess that's for the clubs to negotiate, but if it's a genuinely for mutual benefit then there shouldn't be any "rental" to pay. The Championship team is giving valuable competitive game time to the SL player, in return (hopefully) for an uplift in the team's capability and/or to fill a gap caused through injury, illness or suspension.

So thinking about this slightly logically, if you are going to make a big(ish) signing to get the best out of it you would announce that first wouldn’t you?

Therefore it would appear we have made our new player signings and now only re-signings to announce. We’ve got a fairly young squad and if we give it chance it can blossom.

Sadly we are probably not going to get anybody released by a SL Club unless we are one of their last options, with the player pool still relatively small the perceived better players are going to be picked up by SL clubs or the high rollers in the championship. Not the end of the world as we on,y need players that want to play for us, not ones desperately looking for any port in a storm.

Lets hope that we have been made some big promises by Cas because you take Worrincy, Boyle, and Mitch out of the team and if certainly weakens us.

On the other hand Fax, by having the dual reg in place will use the loan deals for the benefit of Fax, anyone who thinks otherwise is entitled to their opinion.

It's a different game these days than what it was x number of years ago and I have struggled to come to terms with it when it comes to DR / Loans.

However the days of clubs, especially at our level having all the players pulling on their shirts signed up for the club are sadly over and I can only see more of the same in the foreseeable future.
When trying to survive and compete to do otherwise when all your rivals are either using DR and or lone deals will only lead to a sad end.

For me the choice is accept the game for what it is now or stop watching it as there is no point in living in the past.
At the moment I still think Fax are an independent club and as much Fax as they can be and my love of the club will have me turning up.

A loan deal is totally different to a DR deal.
How on earth can you call Fax independent when another club has a say in what players RM choses on a match day?

Im not sure RM would have agreed to the deal if that were the case as it certainly wasn't that way last season.
