| Perhaps somewhere in-between Callands all-out attack and Harrison's all-out lack of attack we might find a decent style of play. Combine them both!

| I'd still take Calland's all out attack, it was exciting and entertaining and well worth the money, nowadays , well!

To be honest i was utterlly fed up of the basketball scores 76-48 isn't RL to me.
The alternative we have now is equally unpalatable though.

| Matt's side was brilliant to watch but they should have achieved so much more, although we were robbed "literally" in that GF. So frustrating. Percy's, Fax. Kalamazoo Amber Ale 5.8% Mmm!

As opposed to losing 40 odd to 18?

| Life under Calland was certainly a roller coaster although I think he had better players at his disposal. From what I can remember it all seemed to be going swimmingly until we played Featherstone the Friday night after coming back from Toulouse. I believe we were something like 20 nil up at half time and managed to lose it. After that you could see the confidence drain away and we were never really quite the same again.
I'll happily admit that I was pleased when KH agreed to join the club. I thought Calland was unable to take the club any further and IMO standards seemed to be getting sloppy as well as off the field incidents. Playing Miles Greenwood at Widnes when he knew he was injured was also a sacking offence on its own.
I honestly thought Harrison would bring the club closer together, bring discipline, stability to club and make us really hard to beat. It won't surprise you to know that I can't take one positive from his tenure, I know there behind the scenes stuff (usually financial) that don't help but for me it's been clear for a long time that his appointment has been a massive mistake.
At the minute what's going on down there is too painful to watch and I've never felt so detached from the club to be honest, there's only so much you can take. Someone asked if by some miracle we got to the GF would you go and yes of course I would but it would be mainly for the beer and the day out because folks we all know in our heart of hearts that our once famous club is Broke and not just in the financial sense either.

I sincerely hope you won't be offended Nigel when I say that is probably how we all feel at the moment and therefore what an excellent post.

| I don't know what problems you have but I hope your BOD make the right decision when they appoint the new coach because it was one of Fev biggest mistakes in recent years when we appointed JB last year and it made for a difficult season. It will be interesting to see who applies if your finances are limited and who actually stays but a lot of you said the team didn't want to play for KH so they may all stop now Anyway good luck with it and I hope it was the right decision for the club and it hasn't happened due to pressure from the fans

| Maybe the club could get someone like Brian Noble in to help with the interview process if not to take the job. No disrespect but Im not sure the BOD are always the best people to pick the coach, obviously most of them run successful businesses and are good judges of character but we also need the best person to coach a RL team which i should imagine isnt the easiest thing to do. I think someone like that helping in the interviews along with maybe one or 2 senior players and a lot of research would be a lot of help in picking the right man.

Gregg, as always I agree with every thing you say, except the bit about 2 senior players being in on the decision.
Employees can not chose their boss.
I do positively agree that our Board whilst consisting of business men
will need help this time.
I also think that if Mr Abbott had enlisted the help of a few experts to answer questions on the night of the Shay buy then things might have been different.
Big decisions need a lot more preparation.
Matt went, supporters wanted Karl,
Snap decision?
Or well thought out?
This decision is vitally important.
