FWIW I saw Jimmy in Ipswich in 1972 with LZ but Jan Ackermann (Focus) around the same time was unreal - he must have had twenty fingers ? don't start me on Rory Gallagher .........................

Being 50 my tastes reflect that era. I have many old friends and close relatives so I go from the mid-60's blues lot right through to now. Tho it has to be said there isn't that much recent stuff in my collection.
All the classic rock from my teens founded the basis of my youthful tastes - but I really got off on that "Madchester" scene with the Stone Roses et al (Blackpool 89' - I know it's cool to say "I was there", but I was)- and I quite enjoyed all that "Brit-pop" lot that followed!
Musac and rugby eh!! Get in.

yeh,sad end for Felix - I had a mate who was drummer in a West Coast band in the late 60s/early 70s and used to tell me all about the 'scene' in LA & Greenwich Village etc - really interesting stuff !

The World in Action theme was a tune is called "Jam for World in Action" and is by Jonathon Weston

Ah, I remember it now. WIA did indeed use DaVinci's Vitruvian Man. I knew there was a 'World' in there somewhere.
