I heard today that they are an extra £400k in debt that the new owners didn't know about from Khan and his cronies. So do they have any assets that they can sell to the RFL to go with the hole in the ground or better still just shut em down and fill it in.

No sympathy at all for a club who lorded it over us and poached some of our support, sponsorships and young players when we were on our knees and we took our medicine by getting relegated yet they were saved by a concocted deal by the RFL.

I think it's hilarious, it typifies what franchising is all about & not what franchising was meant to be about.
It's all lies, lies, lies. As with any club, i feel sorry for the genuine people who are involved, following your sports teams is an emotive part of many people's lives and lord knows, as Fax fans we've been there ourselves but this SL dream is a washout. Scrap it now, we're no nearer to catching the Aussies than we were prior to SL starting.

This is how you run a club in order to get a Suoer League franchise?

And people still praise Richard Lewis. It was ENTIRELY his responsibility to make sure HIS system contained checks and balances BEFORE preaching to other clubs outside Super League that they weren't somehow good enough.

The disgusting thing is they are considered "iconic" cos they were successful in super league. What's completely ignored is they did it with money that wasn't theirs that is never gonna be paid back.

Then fans of championship clubs were slaughtered for saying the RFL bought Odsal to prevent administration and that fans were mugs for chucking £500K into the black hole. I've posed the question on the VT, that without a ' complete competition financing TV deal ' licencing/franchising is unworkable in british sport?

Not forgetting the way Fax's application was termed as ' speculative ' when they were forced to justify their actions due to their own poor management

Led me to believe that the applications of those clubs outside Super League were thoroughly checked but those of clubs in or deemed necessary to SL were not checked, just to avoid embarrassment. I give you Crusaders, Bulls, Wildcats, Reds and Tigers. Anyone speaking out was duly warned and insulted in the press.

Brilliant system eh? I think licensing, if administered correctly and being in place for correct and sporting reasons would be great.

Instead, we get this shambolic mess overseen by incompetent, blinkered buffoons!

The more you hear about it the worse it gets. Why would any club want to join the corrupt mess that is SL at present? The most disgusting aspect of the whole bulls fiasco is how they screwed their own fans of £500,000! It stinks.

I've suggested many times the focus of the Championship Clubs should have been building themselves and the competition by working collectively for financial susstainability

I couldn't agree more.

The trouble is that the top clubs in the Championship are still begging to join the car wreck that is SL.

I think the time has come for the Championships to ignore SL and get together to make their clubs as strong as they can be both on and off the field, reclaim our game and leave the SL clubs to go their own way. One by one they will crash and burn until they are left with the few clubs who are financially viable and a few of those will be stuffed when their sugar daddies either die or lose interest.

Once they are down to 4 or 5 clubs and the attendances have diminished drastically through sheer lack of interest they might finally realise the error of their ways.

1 season sitting down and plotting out the course and then now 4 years later , we could have seen income streams starting to build, but as you say, we still have directors in the championship standing starry eyed with a bowl hoping to catch some scraps from the SL table

Does anybody seriously believe that the restructure ( when and in whatever format it takes ) is being done in the interests of the lower tiers?

When the power struggle has finished and we have some reasonable stability the Championship owners should demand the appointment of a ' Championship Director ' , whose sole responsibility is the development of the lower tier competitions and clubs in them

Bulls - no way back from this-needs a fresh start in the lowerbleagues and build back up
