How do they promote their own kids if they take on Wigan's U23 year olds ? Do you realise how many of Wigan's senior squad actually fall into that age bracket BTW ?

Just playing devils advocate Marilion man . As. I've said before the whole thing is wrong . I agree with the loan signing of a player for a minimum period of time ie one or three months etc but to parachute a player in for perhaps one game to get him match fit is morally wrong

If I was a Leigh fan I would feel betrayed as the Leigh CLub said they would not enter into a Partnership with Wigan. OK loan a player or two but to go down the route that you said you wouldnt just a couple of months ago is poor. The statement is more the Leigh board trying to justify things rather than anything else. It starts off as just a Dual Reg and now its turned into a partnership off the field. Who do you think will be calling the shots with this? I doubt it will be Leigh! If this had been Fax I would stop sponsoring players and putting money in. If the club is struggling then least have the balls to say this and why you go in to partnership to help keep the club afloat

I have deleted the game now but I thought Paul Rowley said whatever they did with Wigan would still be inline with the agreement that Leigh had with Fax, Fev and Eagles but I could have easily got it wrong.



The game will probably be shown again and I will record it have a listen to what he said.



I must admit I wasn't paying too much attention, just remember something about it would have no effects straight away and there were a number if things to consider.

thats what he did say. they have used the rules they signed up to and are agreeing to only use young players.

You seriously believed we had a chance of SL? , or that Leigh as a club are capable of operating in SL?



Essentially W1g4n have a 1 st team squad of 35 players, 19 of who would be available under the u 23 age rule, so 5 from 19 , not forgetting their under 19 squad who I have not included in the list



So SL is the least of the issues here, just having a fan base left that can support a club will be the problem
