Well i for one think we will replace Cas, they do not meet minimum criterea yet we do. Licences in today, Not a brick laid and postponed till beginning of 2013 before they are in which mean they do not qualify. Lewis seemed a little on quiet side to be honest but i really do feel that Cas must be replaced as they do not have the stadia therfore do not meet the same criterea as we do.

Wakey and Cas local derby in the Championship, £300k salary cap, How do you like those eggs !!.

Cas? How about Crusaders and Harlequins first. Average attendances? Rent-a-stadium and administration.

Today was 'Widnes day' with the hype and media focus on them being hot favourites etc and the fact they probably didn't want to leave themselves open to the uproar that they weren't let it for 4 month until July.

The RFL could easily have gone down the 'Widnes are the strongest of the 3, they're in' route, but didn't. They dismissed Barrow completely and took time to publically say Halifax had passed the criteria in a short statement.

If we can be in the top 3 come July, and furthermore, if we get 7,500+ and run Bradford close in the Cup I think that would be massive, in fact, if we dared to beat them, the media hype around Halifax would really set us up going into the July decisions.

I've not got a problem with Cas, Wakey or anyone, but I'd certainly be feeling a bit un-eased with some of the 'incomplete' boxes they're going to have to hand in in 5 days time.

Definitely, you've ticked all the boxes and they've publicly stated that. Now all that is needed is for you to get performing like last season, put a great show on against the Bulls and prove you can compete ON the field in Super League. Today was always going to be Widnes, but I certainly do not feel all is lost for you guys! Patience, performances and publicity is the key I reckon.

I just dont trust the RFL! I will be shocked if we get in even though Cas, wakey, quins and crusaders are equal if not worse than us, leigh and fev. I fail to see how you can compare clubs especially in different comps. And the rfl do everything behind closed doors and there never is any transparency.

This. If Cas got kicked out i for one think it would be a total joke. They probably offer more to SL than we could at the moment barring the stadium obviously but teams like Crusaders and Quins are total jokes of clubs that do not deserve to be in SL and we could offer far more than either of them.

Unfortunately, Crusaders and Harlequins form part of the RFL's expansion plan and, if you believe the apologists, they are the reason BskyB continue to purchase TV rights from the RFL which completely funds Super League.

1. Stadiums count for 3 marks out of 10, Cas meet the mark for 8 out of the 10.
2. Cas EXCEED the criteria Halifax do, and by some distance, it isn't even close don't kid yourself.

The only team (excluding Wakefield) who are anywhere near close to having a weak bid are the Crusaders, and will the RFL kick them out? No, you'll unfortunately have 3 more years in the Championship.



Crusaders are a joke and should be gone, administration 2 of the 3 years finishing bottom, no away fans and no home fans for that matter, I don't think anyone would be bothered if they got the boot. In fact I'd say more people would want Fax in than the Welsh.

Wakey will come down and nobody else will ever go up , unless Cas dont actually build Glasshoughton or Crusaders collapse again

Widnes are a better club than Cas , so they wont collapse , as for Quins , well that depends on Mr Hughes , and he has committed himself for the next 3 seasons

Loving Cas going so well. Just need Wakey to start picking some points up now as well. I know the RFL can get away with it in our league promoting a mid table team because we dont matter but imagine the outcry if it comes to it and they relegate a top 6 team from SL. Up the Cas and Wakey i say.
