Well it will be a long hard slog,how long has London been in Super League has their fan base increased from local support? I think not the last time I was down there it consisted of Aussie /Kiwi folk ,Northerners down there working and away fans the indigeneuos population are still watching Wendyball.

In the 1st half, Cas scored despite what fromthe railway end looked to be a forward pass, plus a knock on. The TJ's didnt offer any support to Ganson all night, so wondering if any fans saw this & was it a forward pass or knock on?

Ganson was his usual erratic self, he certainly appears to have put a little bit of timber on & for me, was struggling to keep up with a lot of the play.

DEF KNOCK ON actually worse than Ben Jeffries against Leeds the other week. Cas player put his hand out to catch the ball knocked it forward about two or three yards how all the officials missed it is beyond belief.

It was a knock on.

The second try was a knock on. We were stood to the side of the in goal near the seating and their second one was a blatant knock on. I can only imagine that ganson didn't see it and the TJs were having a chat with the crowd to miss it as he juggled it three times and dropped it on the floor. Then as he ran past the ball in front of him the player behind picked it up as he ran through and passed it out for the try in the corner.

The forward passes were close calls and can see those going either way through out the season. I certainly wouldn't blame him for them. More flat then forward. I thought that ganson actually didn't have a bad game and the TJs gave him no support in the match. He certainly was taking no back chat from cas.

The second try is the only one i had an issue with in the whole match. It was a good game and fast paced. Wish it was on TV as it would have been a good advert to lower league rugby.

The BBC missed a trick in the last round with Barrow and this round by not showing our game or even tomorrows game at Fev. I fancy they could have a close one there too.

At least we didnt have to play another 20 mins, so should be fresh for next weekend

Plus it's a big week from Sunday. As we have Sheffield at home and then a four day turn around to Thursdays Doncaster game.

The lads could do with a rest i think. At least the Sheffield game is at home though.

Mike, that was a fantastic performance and a privilege to watch. The players should be very very proud of their performance and if it had gone to 10 mins each way in extra time, who knows what the result would have been?

Absolutely fantastic. Prouder than proud to wear the blue and white today. If this doesn't get them packing into The Shay next Sunday then I don't know what will. Standing shoulder to shoulder with the other Fax fans today was the best. Great support. Nice and loud. I hope our lads are holding their heads nice and high after that. Well done

CLUB is the operative word here, Board, team, coaching, backroom and admin staff plus fans all in this together



I write this with tears in my eyes, not because we lost but from sheer pride of being part of the blue and white revolution. We may not be Super League but we have so much more than that including qualities that some SL can only dream of

The last thing needed are apologies.

Now let's win the league,NR cup and GF and really give the RL world something to consider

Mike, from all at Fax, nobody has to apologize for tonights showing, I think a huge well done is in order to all involved.

The fans ,the team, and everyone involved should all say a big well done to each other. Things are looking so good at the moment and are part of something big that is about to happen for Halifax. Onwards and Upwards.

Err just to remind everyone we lost a game we should've won, we've been dumped out of the Cup.

Now the players have to focus on sunday. What they must not do is feel satisfied with a loss against ANYBODY. They need to analyse what went wrong, and put it right.

That said, it was absolutely brilliant

I must admit I was one of the Cas fans who was ignoring the quiet confidence that was growing between Fax fans before the game...having been at the game I thought your guys were absolutely outstanding and did in fact probably deserve to win. Although our own ball-retention was poor, I feel Fax's quality really put on a show, and as someone said your support was fantastic. How the BBC didn't go for this rather than Saints again I will never know...all the best for the rest of the season.
