Seems strange that we would expect Muzza to come as an assistant to a Championship club when he's already that at a SL club, also what would have happened to Craig Huby as it's hard to think we could have the cash to pay for Finn, Huby and Muzza.

Exactly as Faxcar says why we he leave a full time assistants coach role at Cas for a partime one. Gledhill is not the best of sources but surely if Murrell was to come it would be as head coach.

When speaking to the directors/staff last week in France, the playing budget is likely to be £150K less next year, so we have to be realistic re any signings. But we have circa 20 already signed up. They suggested Ikahihifo wouldn’t be coming, his demands are too much. And listening to Keyes, he didn’t sound too happy to be signing for Bradford

If it's common knowledge that Finn is leaving, why hasn't it been announced? I know it's been a tough season for him, but it appeared he was relishing the challenge so I'm surprised he's moving on, especially to Huddersfield.

As long as the season was running and with the question over if we would be still in the division not answered until just 2 days ago coupled with all the disruption from start to finish covering everything from series injuries, the Shay, players and staff not being paid etc, even if Finn is leaving to have announced it during the same period maybe not the best of timings.

Things sound to be being put in place for next year so i’m sure there will be a number of announcements shortly.

We’re hearing rumours of a more positive note and on timing after the big lift and cracking game against Bradford being fresh in peoples minds ASAP would be a good time to start you would have thought.

After all he’s had to deal with, deal with it he has so maybe it wouldn’t be the worst thing to see what he can do with a squad that’s more of his own making.

Finn's departure now confirmed. So who will replace him? Possible return for Murrell, Grix or Harrison? And will Finn be taking Connor Davies with him?

It obviously depends on how much there is to spend, but we really have missed a strike three quarter like Walmsley. In face I wouldn't be surprised if Wakey release him as he's struggled to hold on to his wing spot so I can't see him making it in SL.

Graham has blown hot and cold, Barber is not a centre, McComb and Tibbs are League 1, and despite all his efforts Salty can't skin his opposite number and can only score walk-in tries. Hopefully Crookes will stay - when he has played he's head and shoulders above the rest.

Maizen was linked with a move there mid season as well but from what was said at Whitehaven has now gone back to Australia, so that probably won't come to anything. Shame he left Fax really as would have gone well in his natural position on the wing

The last rugby league press from July 2024 mentioned Widnes and Bradford were in the market to sign Maizen with Widnes looking like the destination after he has a blinder against them earlier in the year and not many around with his pace.

Tangata signed for 2025. Our best forward so happy with that.

Maizen won't be playing anywhere for the next 2/4 years.
