I had originally walked over to McComb as he wasn't calming down after the original incident and appeared to be being held back by his team's physio, and that is when I clearly heard him say the word "xxxxxx" towards a Sheffield player.”

• The Match Review Panel felt the Player’s actions were unnecessary and against the true spirit of the game and brings the game into disrepute.

• The language used is derogatory and negative - term of abuse and disparagement towards persons whose sexual preference is for the same sex."

Are you saying the club has seen fit to add extra punishment to a 8 match ban for name calling ?

It was his birthday a few days ago and had a pre booked holiday scheduled with his family.

This was put on Fax's website at the time of the suspension:

Incidentally it was indeed Zack's birthday, as faxcar has pointed out, last Monday and he was 29.

Latest rumor from the game caller sugests that Muzza is close to agreeing a deal to become our new coach for next season. If true I think it could be the best news in quite a while, Ive said plenty of times on here that I think the club made a huge mistake getting rid of Murrell and Tyrer so it would be great to get one of them back and get someone in with a bit of passion which I think has been sadly lacking in recent years.

Heard this rumour last week through a random source ( my mrs’ works at a nursery in golcar and one of the parents has connections with king cross rugby league) checked with another more reliable source and seems to have some substance with potentially Widdop as assistant. With these plans in place hopefully that means we have things in place to get us through these financial stormy waters .

Noises heard from people at the club when chatting to us all in France over the weekend - about 20 players already signed up for next year. Wage bill budget £150K less. Some talks with potential investors happening, one who has approached the club and made himself known to some of us at the weekend. And contrary to a lot of what you hear on here and social media, some very passionate and emotional people who have invested some not inconsiderable sums of money and been a draining time for them and family.

I must have missed the announcement that Finn is leaving, or asked to leave, when did this happen, I have seen the rumours on here that he is Giants bound, as I posted that out of frying pan into fire, but if he is being pushed can Fax afford severance pay?, or if headhunted will a compensation be paid to fax?

Could be any number of clauses in his contract for get outs, to benefit either him or the club, Eg The offer of a full time coaching job elsewhere, or a release without severance for not reaching the playoffs or something similar.

I'd imagine it'd be seen as mutually beneficial, Huddersfield aren't going to be throwing much cash, and for Fax it's a chance to get rid of him without a potential payoff.

Its Callum Walker so its hard to read too much in to it as even though the story is short, it is all over the place.

Seems strange that we would expect Muzza to come as an assistant to a Championship club when he's already that at a SL club, also what would have happened to Craig Huby as it's hard to think we could have the cash to pay for Finn, Huby and Muzza.

Exactly as Faxcar says why we he leave a full time assistants coach role at Cas for a partime one. Gledhill is not the best of sources but surely if Murrell was to come it would be as head coach.

Problem is some of these signings were Finns so might not go through, hopefully if murrell is the man he knows some decent players.
