Fax to win a close one. I heard that Doggy star men Alex Brown & Alex Walmsley might be leaving for Cas or Wakey or somewhere like that very soon, it that's true, they'll be big losses for the Doggers.

Its been doing the rounds for a few weeks, but they will probably be loaned back for the rest of the season any how.

if we beat you by 40+ we go top of league. hope Karl gets a good welcome from Batley and the ex players get a tremendous reception from the Batley pack. If we have walker and bretherton back and Campbell plays instead of brown think it will be a very close game. we can do without the big club syndrome opinions from some of the fax fans you are in the championship because you are a championship team only. Forget super league for now and enjoy the hospitality at a great club. hope the game is decided by best team and not dubious ref decisions (there i,ve got it in early before you can use that excuse).

DOnt know what the problem is with the Batley fans. Fax (alongside Leigh and Fev) get much bigger crowds, more sponsorship,more money coming in and so can go out and afford the better players in this League. Sometimes circumstances do see the bigger spenders overspend or have money problems. However that has never happened at Batley due to a great well run club. But sadly for Batley they will never be one of the big clubs in the Championship like Halifax, Leigh, Fev or even Sheffield are. Batley cant keep hold of the best players as they simply dont have the money or power that others do. They do well to compete and the club have a great board. Batley fans need to get rid of the jealousy they possess and accept the Batley club for what it is and stop getting so upset at Halifax.

Widnes and their millionaire owner has failed to make them competitive so far and London continue to spend money in vain.wealth is not always the answer being happy in your own environment i.e the championship can have great rewards.
