I actually have 2 spare for the west stand I think, I bought 4 just in case.

I think this has been a bit of a problem this year. Most people I have spoken to bought their tickets from the RFL. I doubt they will use the ticket sales as a 'gauge' for potential support.

I agree with this, many people who wanted more than the 2 tickets (and there were plenty )had no alternative but to buy them from the RFL it is a shame but not quite sure how to get round that.

Me and my little lad want a ticket each preferably in the North Stand and even better if near to a friend at work and his fellow fans in 20b (I think).

Any offers or ideas?

Also went straight to rfl...needed 5 tickets!! Was told sellin to season ticket holders only when phonein the Shay!!???

Thing is the club allowed season ticket holders to buy more than 2 tickets on Saturday anyway, should have just said buy as many as say 8 per season ticket holder on Saturday and Sunday then general sale on the Monday.

Lesson learned Mike hopefully for next year.

I think the club had it right in limiting the numbers Season ticket holders could buy, but that number wasn't enough. But where do you stop? If there wasn't a limit, then even some Season Ticket holders could have been left without tickets!

Fair point Yob. I felt the original allocation of 2 per season ticket was a bit low so i didnt bother on the day for season ticket holders only. I went the day after and i managed to get the 14 tickets i wanted. Maybe around 10 would have been better, therefore leaving plenty for regular supporter who didnt have one. Either way lets just encourage as many people to get down to Harveys to get whats left and have a great day out on Sunday, hopefully coming back with the cup......If we win the first round is on me at the Ivy House

I think limiting ticket supply to just two might have been a slightly poor decision, in my opinion, aslong as the tickets get sold and used it doesn't matter who has them! I am sure every season ticket holder and regular supporter would still get one this way.

I think the problem with the limit would be down to the fact of season ticket holders v non season ticket holders. I am sure the club would have know there allocation before setting the limit, the limit was very close to our average attendance. We all knew what the demand would be like, i am sure the club made the decision in the best interest of every supporter.

If like someone said 10 tickets, based on a 1000 season tickets holders, not every season ticket holder would have got a ticket with our allocation only being 2850, and the chance of the non season ticket holder getting a ticket would be nil.

I think the limit was pretty fair, it still left sufficient over for non season ticket holders. Based on our average gate, i would say around half to a third are non season ticket holders. The unfortunate thing is you cannot satify everyone,and some people will be disappointed or say things should have been done differently. Its our first final for 19 years,mistakes will be made, i know loads of people who havent been for years, that used to be regular supporters who are going sunday.

This final is what we have needed for so long, bring back the drifted/disolutioned supporter, lets hope that they like what they see and return to the fold.

I dont know how many we have, was just a guessimate, think its around that mark.

As a fan lets hope we have the same trouble next year, on two occasions and not one. However i think the people in the office may think different and are in need of a lie down, they doing a sterling job.

It said in the Courier that there was an almost 100% take up by the 700 Season Ticket holders.

My season ticket number is 850 ish & the list on the tunstiles goes upto about 900

The Courier figure could have been Adult figures. I thought it was a bit low. We were over 1000 a couple of years back. I can't see us losing so many, even though we did have free ones for Pensioners at the time.

The numbers quoted I'm sure include juniors. I had ST 88 last year, and my 2 kids had 89 and 90 - but that wasn't the number on their ST booklet.
