There’s as many players who have left or gone backwards under Finn and he’s planning to sign a number of players from Dewsbury a side that’s going to be relegated and another dependant on us not likewise being relegated under his leadership but nothing said about that.

I’m not solely blaming Finn there’s never just one reason or one person involved in a sporting team environment.

Finn in the week when we release a prop has brought in Kai ( I don’t have to guess what would have been said if Grix had done that ) and the money saved from Lannon’s release should be able to be used for a replacement.

If Finn and the club agree to release Keyes to Bradford at this stage of the season whatever the reason would be simply madness.

If your expecting a big aggressive middle then you are going to be very very disappointed , in three seasons at Doncaster I can't recall him breaking a tackle.
He is a big lad with a heart the size of a pea ,if you thought Ruan was poor then hold my beer.

Thought Ruan played 2 full anonymous games for us but it doesnt matter..let's just hope Keelan and any other incomings fit the bill.

Purely from last night's game I'd be delighted if he ended with us next year. Everytime weve signed a real blockbusting forward over last few years they always seem to have been dropped then shifted on, often after very short stay. Unlikey hed do massive minutes at his age particuarly when switching to part time but looked just the sort of forward the fans would love to have at the club

Its the old as age problem, do you keep players at expense of culture or do you try and find a happy medium. We went with culture and found ourselves in a sticky spot with a powder puff pack that all "work hard". As we found though working hard simply is not enough on its own at this level. I hate to single players out but when you see McComb, who obviously gives 100% every time he is on the field for us, lining up at loose forward and you take a look at some of the players we have moved on, then its not really hard to see why we are in the trouble we are in.

The only thing i can think of is maybe have a look at him for the rest of this year with the view to bring him back on loan next year if he impresses

To be honest i do not expect him to be the best in defense or play long minutes and have a high work rate. What i do expect is for him to carry with some punch and give us better go forward then our current middles. And for those reasons he is worth signing.

Fax..if you look up Tom Maiden on fans forum he picked his team from the original squad announcement,must have fallen through as the 4pm incoming never happened..

So this weeks deadline deals are Morgan in earlier this week on loan as a 4th halfback and Foster in for Lannon to the end of the season and 2 forwards out on loan to Whitehaven with game time for them being more important than them playing a part in helping a direct rival involved in the relegation battle because we might need them later in the season even though they’ve hardly played all year??
