Its a relief to get the deal done, I reckon that will be the squad pretty much complete now and to have a squad like that for under the salary cap is a real achievement for all involved with the club.

Agreed... Bob was a key signing for me.

And when you look at the following, we really do have some talent in the ranks, with a number of players who can provide cover.

If I was being picky, I would try and squeeze in another back.

Why is Goddard a ?? He has been mentioned in several press releases as injured.

Backs look fine, if we sign Fieldhouse its 2 Fullbacks, 4 Wingers, 3 s, with both Patterson and Haley able to play in Centres if needbe.

And my thoughts on the backs are that 3 of them have had injury problems, which hopefully are behind them, but a bit of extra cover wouldn't hurt.

Go on then, be picky. Stick Nash in there.

as far as remember rudd is a back too plus rumours nash on way.

I think if Nash comes back there is plenty of cover, do not want a squad too big where players do not get enough game time.

With how many eligible? (or is age no longer an issue?) your scheme is calling it under 23's but last two years been 'reserves' & 'under 20's ' so no idea what rulings of it are tbh!

age of the squad has come down a lot this year.

The U23's is a new competiton introduced by the RFL this year and only 10 teams have taken up the format. It allows for 3 over 23's to be part of the squad; allowing fringe / returning from injury 1st team squad members to get some game time.

We needed this one. To have lost Bionic Bob and Gleese would have stuffed us big time. One or two tweaks and we are sorted now I think

U18s & U20s are Super League Structured Youth.
U23's/Reserves are Championship as well as SL.

I played with Dewsbury "Reserves" last season (U23's) and the ruling WAS (i dont know if it is still the same)
