Of all the things i remember about Bob Hudson it was his last game for Fax v Bradford at Odsal. (and for a few pioneering Aussies too) As they walked up the terracing back to the dressing room i applauded with enthusiasm; knowing that this was not the end but just the beginning. Glory glory days. Loved it all.
Here's a question - Who was the last Fax player to be purchased! ie, a Transfer Fee paid? I don't know the answer by the way
'"
didn't he get sent off in that game?

If I remember correctly he scored three tries in his first game at Thrum Hall, in the days when we were allowed to run on the pitch.
John Burnett escorted him off the field.
O'h happy days!

No posts since Sunday so will kick start it with an easy one.
Which substitute at Thrum Hall couldn't go on because there wasn't a shirt to fit him?
Second part? were you there to see it?

| Going back to that subs shirt that didn't fit....it was Brendan Hill in a cup tie versus Fulham in February 1991.
That was the match in which we ruined a full set of kit by playing on a pitch thawed just before kickoff by a machine designed to melt tar on roads!!!!!

| Yes, it was Colin. I think it was because he always had to be last to leave the dressing room.

There was a game televised at Thrum Hall, against Widnes I think.
The snow was pelting down and the camera went to the Pavilion end and showd just three supporters on their own, no one else, everyone had gone to the Scratin Shed.
Does anyone have that video? Please.
The three numpties in the snow?
Me and my two young sons.

Was it Scrumdown? One of our first games back in Division 1? Greg Pierce (Pearce?) and his bandage? If so, I may have it...
