Way I see it is Holroyd has a passing game, time and time again Blacks passing is suspect, not all the time but maybe more then it should be, he's a runner not a passer really, the man usually has to adjust to catch the ball and loses forward momentum, Holroyd can pass both ways equally as good, I think Brannigan can pass one way better then the other, can't remember. So to me looks like he's been brought in to sharpen up the passing which is one of his top skills.

i have had all night to think about this one, i personally think its a good move is kicking game is amazing and can win you games on its own but we need to cover him in defense cause that is poor, i bet shad is a happy man cause he scored most of his try off holroyd when he was here,

Typical of FAX though in recent years - take a step back rather than one forward. I lost count of how many times the ball went to ground at Swinton because he didn't want to get clobbered in a tackle.

We don't have a problem scoring we have a problem defending and keeping our discipline.

When he moves over to the wing as we defend lets hope Its not the one White is on or we will leak even more through an already poor defence.

Branno has a wrist problem or so he was complaining about on FB, so it makes perfect sense... bowman or Holroyd at 6 with the other as cover to lay off the pressure on branno

On the positive side, when we played Swinton I was impressed with Holroyds ability to get the ball to the flanks in one sweep. Think we've been missing that.

It perhaps hints that one of our players may not want to play for the club - but it doesn't infer which position that player plays. You can certainly surmize something from the quote that's for sure. Maybe he should speak CullenKlingon in order to disguise any meaning whatsoever in any quote he makes

To be honest people are moaning about us saying what message does it send to young Bowman, well it send the message that you have had your chance this season but havnt been up to it so you need to step it up. Hes had chances but hasnt performed, he has the talent but needs to decide whether he want to be a pro rugby player or toss it off like his bro.

I dont see how we can have any competition for places without a second string, this was a huge mistake in my eyes. Would have been better to have less expensive ex SL players, some dual reg, playing alongside a blend of youth and the spine of our side which aint so bad.
Regardless of whether peoples attitudes aren't the best or whether people have had chances, you need game time and there simply isnt enough of it to develop some players. Shame. Roll on next year and lets swamp the club with people with something to prove and less people playing out their careers.
