| One of the TO disallowed trys for held up definitely looked to have been grounded. Think we got the calls from the ref today when it was needed as a video ref may have given that and dissalowed gradys. Revenge is sweet though from last year looking forward to seeing the highlights to see the Grady try again

I'm taking the cautious view, Alan. Fax were "supposed" to have tubbed Swinton at home yet won it late, and were "supposed" to easily see off Dewsbury at home but were lucky to salvage a point. Having said that, Rochdale have been shipping them in recently and are averaging over 40 against. They look in serious trouble along with Swinton, but that may make them desperate to bust a gut. Our very own Jordan Syme has been playing for them in the last few weeks, so he could give us some inside info?
Regarding yesterday's disallowed Toulouse try ...... that was a strange one. He looked like he had grounded the ball as he lay on his side but the ref had a great view. Likewise he had a great view of the Grady "grounding" where it looked like the ball slipped out just before grounding, but even the touch judge ran straight to the corner suggesting he also thought it was a try. A very nervous display yesterday, I've never known Fax make so many errors, especially in such good conditions. But the tackling was ferocious, even Toulouse's big guys felt it.

| Neither team nowhere near their best but still a fantastic TEAM performance. To be fair we probably should have been out of sight but we put down a lot of ball and although I don't think we looked nervous we just couldnt seem to make the final pass. A bit of a shot in the eye for people who said/hoped we would struggle this year and if you said we would have to beat Rochdale at home the last game of the season to make the 4 we would snap their hand off. Likewise on the negative the draw at home against Dewsbury will probably cost us second place but this is massive for the club especially as we will likely end up with Leeds at home if results go to plan.

Exceeded all my expectations this season, thought the season ended with the Oldham debacle, massive well done.Think the supporters club should take great credit too, galvanising everyone and provided the impetus when needed.Good to see QLT supporting yesterday, had we lost at the Bash.........massive respect to Ford too, classy at fulltime. Was hoping we got Leeds away, but not knowing how the gate money is split.

Just believe! You've earned it and can't see anything other than a big Fax win next week. All the recent clashes between the top clubs, have gone the 'wrong way' for my lot, and there's no way that will change next week, apart from Fev probably losing in Canada.

| Looking good for Fax now.
Apart from Fev in Toronto, all the top six should win next week so no real change in the table.

| It may be an obvious comment but the lads need to stay firmly focussed on the job that’s not yet finished and not take The Rochdale result as a given.
Yes of course we should win, likely comfortably but our biggest threat now will be from within, how many times have we seen with Fax and others the danger of thinking they just have to turn up and then struggle.
I’m sure RM and everyone concerned will be drilling it home throughout the week.

| What a performance from the boys yesterday. We probably made more mistakes in this game than our last few games put together but the sheer will to win and work for each other shone out like a beacon. On the one hand we could have been out of sight but alternatively could have lost it. Perhaps for a change we got the rub of the green, it will be interesting to see Grady's winning try, but there can be no doubt the best team won. We need the same effort and intensity next week against Rochdale and we should be able to get the two points needed. If I were RM I would just write Dewsbury on't dressing room blackboard and make sure the lads see it before they take to the pitch next Sunday. Great win lads, let's go out and get the job done next week. Up The Fax!

Indeed and/if looking forward, loads to work on as yesterdays performance in 8s will see us copping 50s against.

| I see that Rochdale's first choice hooker Ben Moores has been suspended for the Fax match. So I took time to see who might be filling in by visiting Rochdale's website. Not only is it "difficult" to find who their 2nd choice hooker is, but their "latest news" is the 3/6/18 match report against Swinton. Deary me. We will only have ourselves to blame if we don't put this one to bed, but we need to turn up and still have high energy levels. Luke Adamson and Gavin Bennion in particular will be up for Rochdale.

| Just watched the highlights and Grady's try looked EXTREMELY SUSPECT! The Toulouse players were going nuts. And Toulouse had a man overlap at the end when they knocked on. Blinking hummering heck, that was a real close shave!

I agree with you GFB. Didn't have the best of games last week at London, but he has really stepped up for the majority of this season. I may be slightly biased but he has been impressive in attack and defence. Doesn't get the credit he deserves for the work that he puts in, but not many hookers do.

At the game I thought the try was more than a little dodgy, but from the video I've seen I honestly couldn't see a reason to disallow it. The Grove, shuddersfield. Oakham Citra 4.2% Mmm!

Will pay up in the bar on Sunday
He has stepped up a few notches and it is nice to see people recognising that. He does a ton of work which goes unnoticed, but we can say that for most of the team this season. It is obvious that there is a great team spirit and the lads are doing it for their mates. No big time Charlies, just a great bunch of players getting more than the sum of the parts!

| From my position in the South Stand, Ben Kaye has always been popular and never sledged. Yesterday's Kaye/Moore interchanging was a master stroke designed to tire the big Toulouse pack out and it worked to perfection. They never stopped running at them. Just like the old Penky/Gleeson days! Or even the Southernwood/Rowley era!
