Thing is as an outside view being a tenant in a new stadium at Don Valley for over 20K or 15K even, with no income stream from the bars and food stands plus having to work around the landlords events, is no good for a RL club especially one like Sheffield with low support. It would be better to have your own stadium if at all possible or at least share a much smaller one where around 1K will create some atmosphere and you can get a deal to take the money from the food stands etc..
I admire your ambition but lets face it even after 1998 (I was at Wembley for that one and the Sheffield end was over half empty I guess around 5K tops supported the Eagles that day plus all us neutrals!) did nothing to put many more bums on seats. Now if a massive cup shock like that did not whet the appetite of Sheffield folk nothing will, its a footy city and always will be the Blades or Owls with a few also supporting the Eagles.
