Sheffield were blowing out of their backside, even in attack, when Brambani hit Handforth, he should have been sent off not sinbinned for the attack to the head. We scored four tries as Sheffield crumbled in 10 minutes, at worst you would only want to concede one. Sheffield are a good side so dont spoil it. There are some great competitive game to be had this season so lets hope it stays that way for the good of the game.

Stringer the thug as he always does was putting his knees in players backs,neck and head. He has history of doing this. Sadly the Refs dont spot it enough. Sheffield simply were not good enough to beat Fax- accept it. I have also seen Fev get a man sent off against Fax- and see then rattle up 60 points despite being a man down! The Eagle fans just need to accept that they were crap that night and the Brambani incident didnt affect them losing-it was just a case of by how many.

Hardly crap as you say, they looked good when they got that roll going and lets be honest it was a bit in the balance until Brambani got sent off but he did what he did and it cost his team, I feel that we would have won anyway but not by the score it ended up at.

i agree, could clearly hear it on tv with ref saying on report. but then hear nothing of it.

Tackling the kicker late plus making any contact with the head or face is a sin bin offence just as the rules state. The Ref likely put it on report as he didnt see it but the touch judge did and maybe thought it warranted a more closerook at it. Brambani chose to follow through when he could have pulled out. It deserved 10 minutesthat was all. The match officials got it right as did the judiciary

We had our best side out but were utter shiiiiite, we had a 15 min spell were we scored 4 trys and would of beat the Aussies, but thats all it lasted 15 mins, big wake up call

Cant see Rovers playing that badly again and it will have no bearing on when we play you in a few weeks time

well now I've come round after one of the most bizarre games of rugby I have ever seen in my life... here goes!

We conceded 60.. and naturally fans of who I consider to be our closest rivals (others teams may dispute that after sunday) are wringing their hands and smelling blood..... BUT, and I know this sounds daft, but would could have and should have won!!
Leyther Matt will attest to the 20 mins of rugby that brought the score from 16-44 to 40-44 and sheffield were blowing out of their @r_ses! A score then would have done sheffield. BUT, Sam gets a ball steal when Fev had made yet another break down field. They go up the other end and score.
At 50-40 I honestly didn't think we were out of it, but then interceptions no4&5 led to 2 more tries and we had screwed ourselves over.
A good tonking now and again serves to strengthen the soul. Lets get Saturday out of the way (cos to me it's a distraction - one we'll make a few bob from but a distraction nontheless), and then we can get focussed on the job in hand.

I'd say we were pretty motivated when we played you off the park in the playoffs last season. Yes we were poor against you earlier in the season, but we've 8 out of 9 games so far this season, I'm not overly worried.

I guess you were due to get the better of us at some point in an important game, may as well do it in a season where we had no chance of winning the main prize.
