Matters not a.n.o ... the units are almost sold out! Shed with a carpet in, full monty purpose built units with silver service or something inbetween. I'm not really bothered. If we've got a service our chair/ceo have developed that people want to buy/spend a fortune on (that's def a fact btw not forum BS)...is it not good business regardless of what my or your opinion of those units are??


We made a loss. Can't remember off the top of my head but a figure of around 95k springs to mind.
However, this is a projected loss against assetts as the club is developed from a very stagnent position in 2006. The club is solvent and currently in a healthy fiscal position. Crowds are up 38% and secondary income is up some ridiculous figure (apologies, I forget the exact numbers). Craig and Paul have brought in grants and sponsorship like we've never seen.

Regardless of the ramblings of my mate gingdong who's idling his time by throwing maggots out for the fish on here, (why on earth do you keep biting lord only knows), things aren't perfect at Fev. BUT, I'm bloody happy with how they are.
Now, if you're happy with how they are at Fax, then we're all happy eh??

No idea if it makes good business sense. Have no idea what VIP units are. Unuts in this neck of the wood are usually occupied by local business. So why these would require silver service, I have no idea.

Must be worrying for you owner to be losing that sort of money at this level. £100k is a lot of money to make up at this level.

Hospitality units that make money are always good business.
Folks will pay to have their lunch and drinks served all afternoon for a wad of cash. Job's sorted. If that is a good cash generator I'll live with it - however it looks.

Losing money is hardly desrieable. BUT, if capital outlay is taken out f the bank and used for developing the business on and off the field (just remember where we were in 2006) and increasing the income capacity and turnover from 300k to 1.5m, then posting such an annual loss is no issue if the club still has fixed/liquid assetts to call upon when you need it - which it has, big time.

I was at the AGM, this year and last. I'm a bit of a whittler, but I'm convinced the club is in good hands at the mo.
Like I said, If you're happy how Fax are, c'est la vie. Job's a good un! Don't see what the fuss is about.

Well the RFL obviously think so because you get 30 k for finishing top and another 70k for winning the grand final so they think it was a much bigger game

Modular units that can be made into anything you want. Most new charlie chalk type pubs are made out of them now, theyv even built a prison down south out of them somewhere. We made 150k out of the 2 challenge cup games. The main bar itself made 15k the day of the cas game
