I could be missing something and often do but even allowing for some less than honourable intentions and motives I fail to see what Mr Poskitt could possibly gain from coming on board at Fax as commercial director.

He has been given a clear target of bringing in £500,000 of income streams, as Little Rich has said would he deliberately want that to fail and thus fail himself, it doesn't make sense.

If that is some sort of smoke screen what do Fax have that he or anyone else could take advantage of?

It seems as the BOD alluded to they can't win, say nothing and their wrong, do nothing and their wrong, say something and it's wrong, do something and it's wrong.

Listening to what they said they are not stupid and there is no way they would be doing this if there were any dangerous jeopardy involved.

They have and still are giving it a lot of thought, the recruitment was well under way before the departure of KH with some exciting additions to come in and still has some slack and option for the new incoming man.

That man as they said will be appointed at the right time when the right man comes available and apparently there is a lot of interest.

None of us have a crystal ball and nothing is a given until after the event but from where we seemed to be heading over the last couple of weeks it looks like a 360 degree turn around from the outlook we had back then.

That statement could have been worded so much better when it comes to calling out supporters at the end.

If i can get to a game and have the money I will be there but i can totally understand the reasons why some people have not been going and do not think any less of them as supporters. The club needs to encourage those people to come back not push them further away.

Think he's just calling it as it is. At the end of the day if supporters don't turn up then the quality of the team falls. It's a never ending spiral. In the end if we can only muster 1,400 as a club then we'll get the team that fits that attendance. But then if the team plays naff it will get the attendance that style of rugby deserves.

The only exception I would point to is our own example. GF winners 2010. NRC Winners 2012. And here wee are struggling for crowds. Even Leigh are still hovering the 2,500 mark with their fantastic season. It's difficult.

I think the problem now with Leigh is that there fans almost just expect to win 40 or 50 points week in week out which can get boring I think but then again it's not a big problem is it

In fact I could clean and press him with Robin sitting on him.

So the moral of this story appears to be that we throw all cheques on the floor and see how much they bounce.
Only time will tell if this is a good move but I'm sure that a large number of people will be keeping very close eyes on any announcements from Mr Poskitt.

They never officially announced a reason why he left. There was plenty of chatter around the WF postcodes as to the reason why, which I wouldn't dream of disclosing on a public forum, especially as the slimy toad will be all over this forum (and your facetube page) like a cheap suit.

Your club had dealings with Probiz and Cas had dealings with Probiz and CP When Fev employed CP a lot of Cas fans told us it would all end bad We then got Probiz as a sponsor who CP brought to our club. There was endless people on social media from Cas and Fax telling us we had made a big mistake but a lot of us didn't believe you as it happened you were all right and luckily we achieved second this year so that will help the club with the liabilities that was left at the club As a person I found CP approachable he seemed very switched on and came across as a person doing well for the club. There is no secret that things have not been done well and standing in front of 2000 fans passing a cheque over for £60 000 to the volunteers from his mate at Probiz then it bouncing is not what I would expect from a CEO of the club I also would not of expected him to pack in the day after Probiz pull out if he was doing so well.

I hope he does well for you don't know how long he had got to bring £500 000 into you club but if he generated £250 000 and Probiz offer £250 000 with conditions has he achieved his goal

I may be missing something here but even if a club decides to offer free coach travel to a game somebody has to pay that company for their services, usually the club.

The club offered free bus travel to Leigh. Great. Announced to the world with whistles n bells.
I believe that this was to be paid for by a sponsor who has failed to honour that commitment and is yet another debt the club has to honour.

Does anyone know what the format is for the under 20's next season? By the sounds of it a few of the lads have got deals elsewhere so players might be a bit thin on the ground. A few in particular feeling hard done by as they were promised some game time in the first team by KH but they hardly had any contact with him all year.

I think they are still awaiting on the RFL to make their minds up what is happening to the Under 20s , there have been whispers they may change to Under 21s but the last I heard no firm descision as yet.

How can clubs be expected to plan ?

This has been on my mind for quite a while, obviously if the senior team had finished in the top two, the prizemoney/funding would have been a good provider but alas.

I remember the KH Courier comments re: Jarrod Ward during the pre-season training about him being big & strong and how he reminded him of a young Michael Hancock. He didn't get much of a 1st team crack and considering the roundabout of wingers we've had bringing in the vastly experienced Saxton & Fox by comparison to Ward's inexperience, it does make you wonder. Similarly, Joe Martin at FB, when it's been obvious that Fieldhouse wasn't Karl's favourite 1st pick. Both Ward & Martin have been given opportunities elsewhere though and good luck to them along with the others.
