Well he was class against castleford and i admit what seen he is outstanding.By far best scrumhalf in national league.

Perhaps but, by the start of next season, Ben will be 29 which is fairly old for a halfback to be entering Superleague.

I'm not saying he couldn't cut it but it's just a matter of whether a SL team would take a chance on him at that age.

Brough was only 22 when he moved to SL by the way.

one major thing in our favour is that the lad appears to actually love playing for & living in Halifax (well who wouldnt!) Money aint the be all and end all.

All the talk was of Ben Black being offered mega bucks to join wait for it Leigh Centurians to help them back into Super League in 2012.Blacky i dont believe will leave Halifax for one minute and in the next couple of weeks he will re-sign along with many other first team players.
