Probably not actually. Joking aside - he always seemed a very astute player - sharp as a pin. I think he can do well as a coach - given more experience.

Good win for Leigh all the chemics big money signings looked second rate Webster looked class the 1st half but went missing again when the game got physical.Think Cullen is no better than S.Macormack.

widnes were poor as well though.

Varks seems to have gone backwards. He looks to lack pace & didnt want to use his strength to break a tackle.

The whole widnes team seems to be struggling though. No confidence or anything. They need to start putting it right soon. They've already played three more games then Toulouse in 7th and only five points clear of them.

It would be a real shock if they miss the playoffs, but the way they're playing it could happen. The need a major shake up from cullen. Either bang some heads together or get new blood, but something has to change.

Sad news at widnes i get rid of half the team next year.Doran a penalty machine and knocks on too much.Simm,thompson not big enough and not punch holes as too slow.No decent centres and thackeray on the wing?Makes me laugh how thackeray never plays alongside webbo.Duffy too fat and slow.Widnes fans are really ed off and we know we are .

Ive always thought Duffy was a scrum half, not a stand off. He used to boss things at Haven & now has to play 2nd fiddle to Webster.

Varks looked great until someone came in to tackle him! Widnes will be playing better by the end of the season - they have too many good players on their books not to.

Our game against Barrow is key - win that one and there's no stopping us (until we get to the one-off games in the playoffs). Remember, 3 points different in the game up in Cumbria, and they'd be the ones on 100% with us chasing their tails...

Having a laugh mate the players are overrated if want to show good enough the show it and win games.

It gets worse for Widnes it looks like TKL injured himself in the interview and may be out for the season.

It was a tough interview. This guy is hard as nails. I don't know how much they're paying him but they should double it. Legend.

Widnes seem to lack any "Strength of Character" In most the TV Games they've lost they've done ok til they've gone behind, then they've struggled.

Tonight they started well and I thought they would go on to win quite comfortably, but once Leigh came back at them (ok even with a dodgy try) they looked lost for a while after. The weather did neither side any favours but the spell where both sides knocked on repeatedly happened inside the Widnes 30, which meant Leigh had the upper hand as it was Widnes trying to make the hard yards.

Widnes are absolutley dire. They just look like a team of individuals. Also what is the Leighs groundstaff obsession with watering the pitch.

I know what you mean about Widnes dropping the ball, however I think a lot of credit should go to Leigh for their defence. Widnes did not just throw the match away IMO. Leigh did put a lot of pressure on them and some of their tackling was very impressive. They did not give Widnes the time and space to run away with the game. Also, the conditions made handling difficult for both sides. Leigh just performed better on the night. As I have said for two seasons now, the hype surrounding Widnes in the press etc. has been over the top to say the least. They have not had the players to make them the team that the media has tried to make them out to be. They are neither a very good or very bad side. A lot of people fail to give credit to teams who beat Widnes. They tend to concentrate on Widnes having underachieved. I do not think that they have underachieved this season, based on the squad they have. The majority of their players IMO, are no better than those at a lot of other teams in the league, so they are doing well to be 3rd, IMO.

We crap and should be doing better.Bad attitude and teams raise against us.
