My apologies.

I was disapppointed with Dwayne's departure. He had a 50/50 season up to when he left but he was played sporadically and often out of position. I thought he had a few good games but there you go. The team is losing confidence at the wrong end of the season.

I wasn't disappointed!

Every cloud then. At least the fans will be happy then. As too much confidence = arrogance = violence = drinking = french baguettes and pasta after 6 = impending doom for all = point laboured

Well I suppose we can't be too disappointed, perhaps I'm just a junky for those nerve janglers

Tonight was a masterclass from Widnes which against a team of 'fax's calibre I suppose should be equally as satisfying.

well we are still top of the league and have 2 games in hand on second place. just looking at the positives.

Just got back...that was really embarrassing tonight, we didnt have a clue. Something is not right at the moment.

Well nothing to say apart from we were rubbish. We couldn't hold the ball and i imagine we only completed 2 full sets in the second half which is appauling.

Widnes looked good but was that because we were so bad? Anyway that doesn't matter to them as they have won when it counts this season and i might rater be in Widnes' shoes at the minute even if they are 3rd and we are top. Not sure if that will be the same come September time.

Anyway this forum is full of doom and gloom at the minute so thats all I want to say rather than getting drawn into it all!

My mate and me sat in amongst the Widnes supporters tonight and they were extremely passionate (not very knowledgeable, but passionate) and Yes it was embarassing.

That has to be one of the worst performances I have seen from a Halifax team in a long while, and its a long drive home from Widnes, in the rain, with the gloating of the Widnes fans still ringing in your ears.

Terrible situation to be in , top of the league , I can understand why you are all so depressed



Us over at Leigh on the other hand are much happier with our lot

its a shame we arnt top and have 2 games on hand on widnes and a game in hand on barrow i think.

its a shame we arnt having one of our best seasons for years then people can complain.

yes we are going through a sticky patch but everyone does widnes had theres at the start of the season hopefully we can have finished ours by the time we get to the play offs.

We were doing quite well last year as I recall, until the business end of the season, we were doing quite well this season when favorites to lift the NRC, until it REALLY MATTERS.

Its not doom and gloom, its a discussion about the game we travelled to see and the performance, or lack of it, by our team. Yes we are top of the league, and we will stay there as Barrow do not play this weekend, but if we have designs on winning the league we have to put up better perormances against Widnes.

Lets just see what next week brings, if we lose again top of the league or not its probably time to start worrying...

They should get things back in order next week I reckon but it means not many more slips ups for the rest of the season now!

Yes we all know we are top of the league but we also know that the wheels have come off in a big big way. The team that got us to the top of the league were strong, skillfull, aggressive and above all else we looked much fitter than other teams in the comp. Now we look unfit, bullied up front and we cant even complete a set of six tackles infact we hardly got past the first 2 at Widnes. If we are honest we are at the moment a complete and utter shambles as a rugby team and in my opinion we need to get back to some serious hard work to sort it out or else we will finish the season on a whimper. Testing times for Matt and the coaching staff but we must also remember that Matt is a young coach and has never had to cope with this sort of form before so lets get behind him and the team.

and we are caperlble of doing that we have beaten them as many times as they have beaten us this season so we are caperble. they were at home last night it was always going to be tough going there but i dont think we are going to end up going to there place in the play offs and we know we can beat them at home.

you knew you could beat us back at the beginning of the season whilst we were having our troubles... now we are an entirely different proposition...

So are we........................ unfortunately.

One thing about the Championship, no-one could ever call it boring. Threequarters of the way through the season and, after this weekend, there could conceivably be 2 points seperating the top 5.

It's certainly more value for money that SL...
