Which better players have we let leave? We have had two very poor seasons which those players that have left contributed to. We needed a massive clear out and we are at last seeeing that although I still think it needed to start at least a couple of years back. As LU says we have a number of quality players in key positions especially 1,6, and 9. We have 2 top quality props to come back in to the team which will be like having 2 new signings as long as they are fit.

I am not sure what some people were expecting, we clearly have no money, we owe the tax man, we have not paid rent for months, so taking that in to account I think our signings so far have been quite positive. Richard Marshall will look after us I am sure with who we get from Warrington and personally I feel a lot more positive about the upcoming season than I did about last season.

Crooks posted “first day of pre-season” on his Instagram and he was in his Fax kit. Guess he might leave if he gets a better offer but for now he’s staying

I read Fax have a deal with Hansen plywood, maybe the can use then to build a defensive line !

Looks like the end of the signings, so will be operating a very small squad of 18. I get that, we just can't afford to pay players sitting in the stands. Hopefully we'll set up a meaningful DR to plug any injuries.

The rumour I've heard is that 4 season long loans were to come from Warrington, dan okoro and lucas greene two props were the names banded around. It'd be nice if kyle eastmond could sign a couple himself .

Yes we saw similar video footage of how brilliant Greg Eden was but lhe looked a completely different player with us.

just seen today that Warrington have announced they'll be continuing their DR partnership with Widnes next season - not sure where that leaves Fax. On another point I know it's been mentioned on here before, but Crookes and Tibbs featuring on photos of pre season training - are they signed on or not?

I am disappointed that Seb isn't joining us i think he would of gone well for us providing what we have been missing up front. I would guess that we will still be dr with Leeds but getting some loans in from Warrington, which if we don't sign anymore players would be very risky because as soon as Leeds or Warrington pick up injuries they will just recall there players leaving us in a right mess. And with Crooks and Tibbs not getting any social media announcements of new deals i would think that Kyle would of told them they can leave even if they are under contract for next year.
