| Quote ="Tony Fax"All Toulouse's 6 defeats have been away (including the summer bash) so home advantage is more useful than usual.
Hope Toulouse will eventually get promoted to get them out of our league ...... having a foreign team in a part time league is so stupid it beggars belief, the travelling for part timers virtually gives them a guaranteed home win - their 12 home wins out of 12 so far says it all. Not to mention the costs. A total farce!
As for Saturday ....... Fax 24 Toulouse 18. Crowd 1,415 with zero fans from Toulouse.'"
I'm in agreement with that although a part of me wants Featherstone out of our division, if we can't go up, for different reasons.

I want Fev to go up so their fans get battered in hull when they try their usual anti social antics .

I once played in a amatuer game in hull, and there was about a 10 minute walk from the changing rooms to there actual ground don't ask why. And the last part before the pitch we had to go under a small bridge with steep grass bankings either side were there fans would be waiting, lets just say it was as big a battle to get on the pitch as it was on it.

I wouldn't mind but most of these fev fans are built like deontay Wilders legs , high on coke and ed on carling when they actually meet some proper lads they'll be obliterated

| Last time I went to Fev was when Worrincy scored that great long distance try which helped us get into the qualifiers. I remember stumping up the fiver for car parking 'cos I didn't trust parking on the street at the mercy of the local scuffers. Also remember a fat fev fan goading the Fax fans in the stand.
My first visit was when Andy Fisher took Dave Watson's head off ..... he got sent off and the fev fans were applauding Fisher as he did the walk. Thoroughly unpleasant folk.

| Being investigated AGAIN for a group fighting against us on Sunday. Tanked up, came to the Bulls end, literally 10 seconds later throwing punches. I've said on our board im fed up of it and the RFL are complicit in this with their pathetic 6 month investigations and suspended fines.
Im equally fed up with the same old "whataboutery" "it's only bulls and fax fans that moan"
I mean let's be honest, Fax and Bulls can't stand each other yet we're quite happy being in the same stand together, bantering and there being no bother (as RL should be) I'm certainly not afraid to wear my bulls top at the Shay, equally yourselves at Odsal. Yet I won't go to Fev and certainly wouldn't wear my bulls shirt.
It sad as there's some good Fev fans, but it's just ridiculous now (they currently have two investigations now for bother) a line needs to be drawn and these scumbags driven out of our sport.

| It is obviously a problem that Featherstone as a club have hanging around their necks that is not going away, and like as been said it must infuriating for most of their fans to keep hearing stories like this keep coming up. I have a couple of friends who support them and if they witnessed any of this behaviour they would deal with it themselves but then would end up in trouble themselves.
As for our game i feel a bit nervous for this one, i have looked at the Toulouse side that played at Newcastle and even with some players missing that looked a handy side to me so we will have to be on the ball from the off on saturday. Even with O brien missing we are still strong in that position so no excuses it is a must win game and we need to get the job done.

| Using our latest showing as the benchmark, play like we did first half and we'll likely lose, play like we did in the second half and it's more than likely we will win.

| Well, I’m just leaving the Shay having watch Town play, and dear god it’s hot at 2.30. Much respect to the rugby lads taking the field in 3 hours or so.

Haha brilliant..... We have a massive win and your first decision is to come on here and try and score some points.
But yeah if thats me taking a beating, give it to me every week because Ive had a fantastic night watching my team win and once again playing some really good rugby.
Back to the game its a huge win in the context of our season and again it makes you wonder what could have been when we can produce performances like that. I can't remember defense like that in many, if any, games this season and you could see after the game how much effort the players had put in to that one and its great to see.
I thought Crooks, Lannon, Inman, and JWH were all very good so the MOM decision seemed a little bizarre but we had their number in attack for a lot of the game constantly carving them open. We just look so much crisper in attack with Inman on the field as most of us have said all season but he looked to up his game in defense as well tonight with some good shots.
We still need a result or two to go our way along with winning the remaining games but it would be nice to get another shot at Bradford over at Odsal setting up potentially another trip to Post Office Road. Hard not to be excited after a performance like that.

| Relax Greg it’s a joke , I saw Liam Finn at next to Grix when we was 12-4 down he whispered something in his ear and after that we turned it on , so no need to worry Grix is still a crap coach and finn is the messiah . Always knew you were the oracle.

Unbelievable after a performance like that just coming on to have a gripe about the attendance. What did you expect- half the country having a BBQ, England football and rugby union on TV, and playing a team who's away support was probably about a dozen! The important thing tonight was the result, and the crowd inspired by that performance created a great atmosphere. Hard to know where to start with individual players in what was a fantastic team performance - thought Tangata put in a massive shift, Crooks had a great game topped off with the pass for Walmsleys try, and JWH as is often the case looked the best player on the pitch. Could say something positive about every single player tonight - just hope we're not to badly affected by injuries after some massive collisions.

| Stuck with them in the first 40 and then a huge second half saw us get on top and dominate for big minutes and when we were on our line hold them out.
Hard to choose an outright M o M with some good performances across the park, so I'll give it to the full 17.
Main downside is the number of knocks picked up but at least there's a full week + 1 to recover.

Spot on mate. Home in Birchencliffe now having a beer and listening to some reggae. I'll comment on that very good performance tomorrow! Up The Fax!

| One other player I meant to mention was Alex Sutcliffe - he really lifted the team as soon as he came on including a thumping tackle that led to JWH's try. He looked completely lost when played at centre, but if he could maintain yesterday's firm I'd be delighted if he signed for next year.

I agree with that and without going too far off topic it would show once again that we can get some benefit from the DR system even though I don't agree with it. A couple of training sessions and a weekend in France the players and coaching staff would have learnt a lot about Sutcliffe so again we could be looking at try before we buy.

| Fantastic performance, and without AOB!!! Inman was outstanding and would have him ahead of AOB who's the wrong side of 30 if there is indeed an issue of who to retain going forward.
Full marks to the fans who really got behind the team. Hopefully York and Whitehaven will do us a favour today, and we'll benefit more from a Widnes win at London.

| Well we didn't get off to the flyer i hoped for but from 4v12 down we steeled ourselves and for the last three quarters of the game Fax more or less bossed the game and looked more like the full time team than the visitors. It was one of our best displays of the season with Crookes putting in a MOM display in front of Lee who was sat in the stand watching. Tom Inman showed just why he should be playing more, when he came on our attack visibly quickened. Mainly though it was an all round team performance against a team who showed why they are second in the table at times but also why they are beatable. For Fax though, a vital win which if it does lead us into the play-offs should be a marker for us and a warning to the other teams that when we play like that we are capable of beating anyone in this division. Up The Fax!

| The start of the game reminded me of the game against Featherstone, they looked big and strong and how fast is there fullback with them scoring what looked like easy tries. Then once salty dived over in the corner we grew into the game and they lost a bit of their sting in attack as there starting forwards went off and i would say we was on top pretty much from there on. The hit on Gee sent a shudder into the stand but it was good to see him return in the second half. Some of our defence in the second half was as good as i have seen in a long time and like as been said it was a very good team performance but surely Keyes should of not got m.o.m he did nothing wrong but a number of his team mates were very good. We just need some results to go our way now and for us to get the job done over the next 2 weeks.
