I thought just using our own players was what a number of people wanted, we have mainly done so over the last couple of games and will be even more so over the next couple.
Hopefully with better results in the latter or we are in trouble if as a standalone club we can't compete with Barrow and Dewsbury.

all championship clubs should agree between themselves not to use DR. season long loans, month loans etc like it used to be ok.

The state of the game in 2018 means some Championship clubs could hardly raise a team just relying on their own players and when they could taking Fax over the last couple of weeks it equates to part time players who have to get up and go to work and attend training sessions in between having 4 games in just 14 days or so with busted bodies.
Let’s take a stand and go it alone whilst the chance of everyone else doing so amounts to zero and still get the results.
Sorry to upset anyone but it’s only easy to ask them to do that if your sat on your butt at Redhall or from behind a keyboard.

After an iffy start the lads played well tonight and were good for the win which apart from the 2 points was vital after the last couple of weeks.
Barrow get some credit, they defended well and kept going to the end although the spoiling, delaying tactics started to grind a bit at the end.
The ref, well what can you say, we can't have a game without them and they have to start somewhere.

Well on the whole I was satisfied with the team performance. I thought that Sion Jones again stood out being very comfortable at this level... If I were fax I would be launching him in between the opposition centres on attack . He's one strong boy with quite a turn of pace . I lost track of the number of times Johno could have passed to him but chose something else. He needs to be lining this lad up for a gap. He nearly scored through 4 defenders from a standing start so let's practice a move lining the lad to hit at pace perhaps salty takes an inside run steps then launches Jones.not many will fancy stopping him in full stride. I just feel we are a couple of players short of really having a good team half back remains key just an old fashioned style with A step and shorts soft pass to runners.. Also pleased with young Connor McGrath haven't seen a passing to a fax winger in space for a while . The lad shows he has good pace because Barber wouldn't have made it to the line. It was good to see. Thought Tyrer had his best game in a while . Butler looked comfortable too and always put us gaining ground . Some solid performances out there tonight mention to Morris as well.

DR was good for the game,it was good for the SL clubs and it was good for the young players upto the end of 2011 when championship clubs could go to any SL club and ask what players they had available.

Leigh used it well,we got Brierley from cas,Emmitt & Marshall from Saints & we got got Laithewaite & someone whos name escapes me from warrington,im sure there are others as well.

These were all players who Millard & the owner clubs all thought were the next generation SL players Who needed tougher competition to progress.

Then in 2012 they ed it all up and (it sounds like) forced champ clubs to link with one club thus we have what we have.

A really good professional performance last night. It was good to see folk coming out if the game with a smile in their face. Note to RM...Let's have some consistency in team selection now.

but few on report, tyrer one stupid as ref was not going to give voluntary tackle so he had to make contact. other just accidental clash of heads.
but we all know cant predict outcome.

To put some perspective on it,they rested 5 for monday and only had 1 second half sub with 3 injured.
