I can't believe some of the soppy comments from our fans on this messageboard since the weekend game, did you really expect a local side come to get whacked around and be a laughing stock ? Fair go to Ovvy for sticking with it, they didn't give up, easy to do when the scoreboard is against you at any level of the game. The sheer physical difference between the teams from man to man was a frightening prospect and don't let us forget they haven't been in too good a shape for most of the season, results wise.
Job done on our part, no real new injuries, Ovvy got a bit out of the tie and a cracking crowd in attendance, just take a look at some of the other attendances at games from last weekend.

I know mate I did not want to get on their backs they did well considering, my gripe is the Ref just let anything go and played the sympathy card when players desrve protection, they went very high and just a quick talk early on and the odd penalty would have nipped it in the bud.
