Silly me thinking Toronto was a little further than London

I totally disagree but out of interest do you think we could get a player better than him at the moment?

We'll never know if no-one is given enough time in that position.

You mean someone already at the club? Outside the club I can only think of about 3 or 4 players I would rather have and they are all way out of the clubs budget.

Fortunately there is a breeze of change within the club that isn't looking at what we can't do but what we can do. Let's sit back and see where we go, who we get and who goes. It might surprise us all.

We could not afford Craven when Widnes were trying to off load him so I would suspect his value has gone up since becoming a 1st team regular. Hampshire I would take in a flash if Leigh did get rid but I think we would be near the end of a long line of clubs who would also want him and again not a chance we would get near the wages he would be wanting.

Haha give over, I were one of the most positive people on here last season when people were talking about us getting relegated. This is just me been realistic, there is not going to be a money tree that suddenly appears with the new people coming on board. These are shrewd business men that will help try and get the club to continue on a sound financial footing.

Interesting that Bryson Goodwin will not be joining Leigh next year but going to Warrington.

Getting a decent fee for someone who hasn't played for you yet is a good deal.I thought super league contracts could be waived in the event of relegation,maybe that doesn't apply for advance seasons.

Contracts are null and void when you get promoted or relegated but that doesn't mean you can't sign a new contract with the same club. Maybe not on the same terms.

So why did Wire pay a fee to Leigh if he had free agent status...doesn't stack up.

I doubt Leigh players contracts are null and void to be honest. I wouldnt be surprised if most of them have wrote in either a raise or reduction percentage if they either they stay in the division or are relegated.

Transfer went through before mpg by the sounds of it. He was going to be a Warrington player regardless of our result last week.

That seems like a gamble that Leigh didn't have to make,but Beaumont's reaction to the defeat didn't stack up either.
