I'm hearing that home fixtures for KXP are in doubt at the moment due to the current state of their new pitch. How many games has it hosted, it cannot be too many ?

Colin, I would think 6 or 7.
The problem is the pitch has quite a large gradiant, think Batkey and some more.
It was completely water logged almost from the start.
I understand Park can still play on the moor this year.
Regretably I won't be there tomorrow, Going to Nottingham for the weekend, will try and find a game of some kind down there.

I know the lad in question and he told me its aload of crap anyways. and just to clear up what ive been asked before i am not the lad in question but a close friend

Our game off today. Went to watch stainland - Victoria. Awful standard of rugby, Jamie Bloem ripped it up for the first half, had argument with one of his own players and then walked off the field, took his shirt off and walked off. We then left as was so cold!!

It's getting near the radio Leeds commentating season, if they're actually allowed to cover any RL games under the recent BBC clampdown ha ha ha.

Good old Bloemy, cocky little sods up Stainland taking Bloemy on, did they have police presence on the touchlines again ? I hear it was enforced on them earlier this season due to the bad behaviour reports by some local residents.

Couldn't get out today, Man Flu.
But, my spies tell me, KCP 2nd v Greetland 2nd was abandoned 10 mins into second half.
Greetland down to 7 men and losing 50 nil.
Aparently KCP played a number of 1st teamers, was their game at Keigley called off? and Greetland had a few youngsters.
(before Leon and lmw attack me I am only repeating what I was told)
Anyone know more.

I went to watch Greetland 1st at home to Halifax Irish, there were 5 1st teamers out injured so some very young ( 16 year olds ) stepped in & performed admirably leaving the 2nds desperately short. My understanding is they arrived at KXP with 10 fit players & when 2 more got injured the ref called a halt to the proceedings, the scoreline that fed back to Greetland at the time was 28 nil.
I wasn't at all impressed with the Irish TBH, Chris Holroyde was his usual brilliant self but other than that they didn't put many combinations together & the Greetland lads stuck with it.

Colin, spoke to Symsey today, his lad plays for KCP 2nd's (he's going to be good) confirms your view. Although he thought it was more than that at half time, but not as much as the 50 my informant said.

I was hoping to chat to Symsey myself at the gym this aft but the lazy sod blobbed ( again ), their youngest lad was in though, he's on scholarship at Hudds Giants as an U14, they're both great kids & have a lot of potential at RL and cricket.

I'm hearing reports that the young Greetland 1st team have had a kicking again over at West Leeds this aft after threats of such nature when things turned nasty at the final whistle up Greetland early on in the season. Why the Pennine league ar$eholes allow such clubs into our local league beggars belief after the troubles they've caused before switching.
Am not so keen on my youngest lad's fixture being on in the U18's national cup away to Oulton tomorrow morning, when I got up for work at 5am today it was minus 4 on the car temp thingy ! Any pitches that have recently been played on and suffer anything like a frost will be rutted up.

West Leeds are a typical Leeds side, horrible horrible people.

Bloemy's old legs will be tired after playing in the Littleborough mud on saturday & reffing York City Knights v Leeds Academy on sunday !
