Cullen is what he always has been an arrogant nobody and his comment about it being " their toughest training session" was typical of the man.
Never rated him and obviously he`s not the sharpest knife in the box and getting shut of him and bringing a proper coach in at Warrington has made all the difference.
The interview with Ged Stokes after the match showed the difference between the two. So gratious in defeat and a man who has done a great job in very difficult circumstances a true gent (Even if he is an Antipodean!)

Widnes were incredibly rusty last night and missing a few key players.. Haven were also missing a few players.. they came out and tried to win the game using spoiling tactics which worked to an extent... certainly better than your laughable attempt at rough-housing a few weeks back..
Did Laughton win the game for Widnes no!! Did the dubious decision on Whitehaven's try cost them the game no!!
At the end of the day they played a game that ran close to infringing the rules of the game and were pulled up for it. Since Cullen arrived he has spent a lot of time instilling discipline into this team.

As for having a go at Cullen for his post match comments.. what about gobby e Calland.. your messiah

No-one else in this division is allowed to play attractive rugby or win earnestly. There has to be some mitigating reason for Fax to be beaten or for a rival to get a decent result. The fact that you went dump for a while or the other team is decent does not cut it for you.

Likewise with Paul Cullen.. we have a coach who shows real ambition and isn't afraid to let the team play expansive rugby. He also has inherited a fairly uncompetitive squad and changed them into a very decent team...
