Batley have got classic little club syndrome. It makes me laugh how some of their fans act like Fax fans hate them or something yet most Fax fans have a lot of respect for a team doing so well on a shoestring. If they win today i expect the likes of distant dog to be on here gloating like never before and all his jealousy to pour out. Anyway i feel if we are on form we will win comfortably(he will try to ram these words down my throat if batley win, water of a ducks back though) but it could be really close because of the extra incentives that a win over Fax provided. Either way should be a good game and the jealous Batley fans should make for a good atmosphere.

I don't see any reason why I should be particularly jealous of Halifax, apart from the fact they have a few more fans than us. In any case, this difference is hardly in proportion with respective population bases. I am, however, admittedly jealous that you have Wayne Reittie flying down your wing, and we don't. Who got the piggy back from the ginger one? He let you hold down and spoil the play of the ball for 75 minutes. Had he given the penalty when he shouted held and your players wouldn't let go perhaps Rettie wouldnt have had a brain fart and then who knows?

Why would we do that? So Black has his best game 18 or so months and suddenly he's awesome?

Oh Bob, come on. Accusing one team, and one team alone, of spoiling tactics smacks of serious delusion. Next you'll be telling me that Halifax not once delayed a Batley play-the-ball, were onside throughout the entire match, and didn't commit a sin for 80 minutes.

duuno about that.. watched him on prem sports for Batley and he was their dangerman that game as well.

He has an effective kicking game, pace and a big heart. His bad spell at fax came on the back of repeated injures I believe he should have been given a chance under Rhino and I was saying that before today.

seem to remember a couple of seasons back our fixture at the shay was announced as 4,500 , as you average 2,000 we must have brought 2,500 so we beat ya yet again , unless you were fiddling the gate
