AFAIK Probiz sponsored Fax first and then sponsored Cas when their original sponsorship deal for 2011 fell through. It was going to be Metrel an electronics company. |

That can't be true. P&R bankrupts clubs, not franchising. Franchising brings security. Franchising brings top quality young English players to the fore. There's no room for failing clubs in SL. That's why Wakefield, Crusaders and Harlequins are basking in the safe haven of the franchised and why we are down here amongst the dis-enfranchised. Sounds like a suffragette scenario. I'm going to burn my bra outside Red Hall. |

Thats why clubs like Hull KR have 10 overseas players by one means or another. At least David Brook was open about it in the 70's |

While the problems aren't IMO an effect of the Franchise system , what it has done is polarized those problems because instead of a chance to rebuild and return with clear targets , they and we know the odds on them getting back up to SL are very slim
Yes we should all run a perfect business , but this is sport , so it's nothing to do with business |

TO BE HONEST EVEN THOUGH CAS ARE CONSIDERED ONE OF THE LEAST FASHIONABLE SUPER LEAGUE SIDES, THEY HAVE A GREAT FOLLOWING AND GET GOOD CROWDS FOR THEIR LEAGUE POSITION.
THEIR NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH PROBIZ AND THE NEW STADIA COULD PUSH CAS ONTO ANOTHER LEVEL.
CAS ARE MY 2ND TEAM, AND I WOULD LOVE TO BE COMPETING AT THE SAME LEVEL AGAIN IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
I AGREE WITH THE SALFORD COMMENT....1ST YEAR BETTER CROWDS THANKS TO ALL THESE NEW SIGNINGS AND NEW STADIA. BUT IF THEY DONT GET QUICK SUCCESS, IT WONT LAST LONG. |
