Your right faxcar i hope it does'nt disrupt either of our end of season run ins as i for one would rather have it as tight as it is between our 2 teams than one of us running away with it that would be boring IMO.Also its only natural these rumours would be flying around as our 2 teams have the best players in our league so im sure DP and KH would want players from either of our squads for next season.

Exactly mate and all we can do is trust them to get the right man for the job at the right price.

I am sure any movement will build on what is allready there and hopefully improve what we have.

In this sense I think Fev are further down the road as the major rebuilding took place when DP took over and since then he has just strengthened/replaced here and there as the need arose.

Of course he has had the backing of the BOD then and now.

Fax's rebuilding started again just a year ago and I think we have over achieved in some ways, I do think there will be a fair few changes this time round and it will be another year on before things start to level out and settle down.

Hopefully some happy days for us both.

I would settle for both of us in the top 2 any order and in both the finals every year win or lose that would do me fine faxcar

We have Thacks and Handforth already tied up for next year.

The only way i see Finny coming back to Fax is in a player swap with Penky.

Then play handforth at hooker, with thacks and Finn HBs.

But it is all speculation, and i dont belive any of it.

I can understand Ben Black wanting to move to Fev, his exit from us was acrimonious, and the only way he can really make his point is with Fev.

If he goes home to Leigh i would say good luck Penky and thank you for your fantastic service to Halifax. The lad is a great player and we are lucky to have had the best of his playing days. If he leaves Fax i would personally be more than happy for him to go to his home town.

Well said Pete, I agree and have said that to many people. Playing for your hometown has got to be an awesome feeling am sure. To go to a rival in your own division has got to be either about winnings things or money, not much other motivation and as we're all hearing/reading the temptations are apparently "life-changing", in Sean's case he's done some fair old M62 trips over the last five or however many season's his 2nd spell with us has been so good luck to him but I really hope we squeeze one more season out of him, it's be fantastic to do a cleansweep with him as skipper.

And if he was at LSV last night or whenever, the least you can do is see what's on offer, you owe it to yourself.

At this stage of his career too - it's the right time to look for a caravan, so what better place . . . .

I would love to see Penky finnish his carrear with Fax and to be honest I think he will.

If he does move especially back to his home town club then fair enough and he will always have a place in memory of many many Fax fans and we will wish him all the very best.

If he does move then rest assured Fax fans then there will be a very good replacement coming in and Rhino will allready know who he wants it to be.
One way or another it will be sorted pretty soon.
