Yes probably. All I want Flemming to do is accelerate into the impact area not do a Gavin Benion and slow down . He has everything else going for him in terms of size and skill sets

Anyway, back to today's game. Really bricking it now. Not only do we need to avoid the dreaded Shield games, but also hope we've not budgeted to finish in the top 4 just in case we don't make it. However, I've every confidence in the lads, give it your best shot. Hopefully Toronto, Toulouse and London will get promoted, and Leeds, Hull KR and Widnes will come down. Together with York and Bradford getting promoted from League 1, then next season the leagues could look like this .....

Well with 11 mins to go I thought it was going to be a dull day. Then sheer team spirit arrived like a beacon and took them into a win. There is no doubt the team has that added ingredient so hats off to all concerned.

Third successive season in the 'Middle 8's' for a part-time team.Outstanding achievement and good luck in the '8's' - I'll be rooting for you now, despite you 'letting me down' today!

Feel deflated at the moment, but chuffed for my friends, Living the Dream, Bentleyman, Hudd Shay, Pellon Boy ,Fax Car,Norman,and Sparky, and others I know,good fans I know who will be celebrating tonight,good on yer.

We are Leigh are a bit flat tonight, after another mediocre performance , but we will bounce back,I hope to see you all next season,at some point, maybe this season depending on the fixtures, one things for certain, Charlie will return.

Not over yet, Charlie and Alan. Fax still need to turn up against Rochdale, they stuck 6 tries past Leigh last week so if we think they're easy beats we could be in for a kick up the backside.

What a strange game we won it but didn't play as good as we have done in other games with a lot of mistakes but we really got at them and deserved the win even if it was a dodgy try to win it, its revenge for the one they got last year that. Finish the job now against Rochdale lads and Top 4 is ours what an achievement that will be!

Good job no video ref as that one did look dodgy albeit the ref was right there to see it. One of the "held-up" TO efforts looked to be grounded from where I was as well. Regardless, maybe justice for that 12-10 loss that never should have been.

Great result but seemed like we were a bit nervous, I’d have gone for the one pointer first thing in 2nd half, it might have helped us calm down having the 2 score gap but not to worry the result came right in the end. Was also good to see us get off to a start instead of playing catch up.

I agree you mustn't take them for granted FD, and yes, we did concede six tries there. On the other hand, Featherstone beat them 80-4, a couple of weeks before! our main problem at Leigh, has been an awful defence - we conceded four tries against Swinton yesterday, after running up an early 28 point lead, and have thrown away substantial leads, in all but two of the games we have lost. Fax, on the other hand, have a very strong defence. I wish we could/would build our team on the Fax model.
