In the pre game warm up I thought Green looked somewhere between totally unenthusiastic and outright miserable.
Maybe he doesn’t laugh or smile much and appearance is deceptive because during the game apart from the knock on on first carry I thought he put in a good shift, Douglas and Clare the same.
The problem is by just looking at individual players, (which are involved) it clouds the bigger problem which is the team as a whole that needs to find away to cut out the errors.

Back on the positives theme, they played well on Sunday for most of the game.

They just need to get one game under their belts where they click, get some confidence and belief and it could transform the side.

I agree that Murrell hasn’t been at his best so far this year, but sometimes the halves can be made to look poor, if you get slow delivery from the play the ball and players who don’t run good lines off them. The opposition also target Murrell; they know that most of our attack and kicks (has to) go through him. Despite that, we score the vast majority of our points on our right, the side Murrell operates on, whereas we create very little on the left even though we have had more speed there, and it usually being the side of the pitch most teams attack more due to players generally being better at passing right to left.

He seemed to have a bit of potential when he first arrived, but has not developed at all for me. Now whether that is down to a lack of coaching or laziness is up for debate. I’ve been saying the same thing for the last 2 seasons.

Moore leaving wasn't down to a judgement call on ability and Robinson wasn't top champ quality at point he left.

think the fact Robinson is playing well in League 1 is redundant - we dont need a player that can play well at a lower level than our own.

and Moore would still be here had it not been for our demands of players - his business comes first and rightly so.

Bit more complicated with Gaz Moore . He didn't see eye to eye with RM and it just didn't work with 2 dominant halves ie nobody knew which one to give it to! Looked good on paper but in practice didn't work.
