Alex Brown DID make the first team at Leigh , he played in the first 2 games , had a wobbler at Barrow , and hasn't played again , his defence under the high ball is very suspect , and his positional play is dodgy , though he is fast , then again so is our Postman , but he wouldn't be much use on the wing .

No I seem to remember it been Forster who was on dual reg from Saints.

He had a stormer against us over at Batley. We struggled against him all afternoon.

Is Ben Davies still classed as a Fax player that is going, or gone

Think hes gone and probably Ben Heaton as well. I think we have replaced with better though but only time will tell.

Forster has been immense for us this season,I really can't understand how saints have let him go ahead of others he he is a top quality prop .Taylor we poor for us at stand off early season,but since moving to has been excellent.

In the end it looked as though we could have done with him.

Well John , no surprise in the result or the scoreline for me , I WILL be at the Shay next Sunday to watch your game with Dews , hopw to get to see you for a chat , I don't think Fax should take Dews lightly as it wont be easy , its Brewing for a tough game , though I will be cheering the Fax on .

It seems strange that one of our most consistent performers has been dropped the last 2 games, only making it last week as 18th man.

Can only go by what he said, spoke to him in the chip van queue, asked him why he was not playing and he said and I quote " not played well for the last few games"
He seemed ok with that.

John , Mr Bracek is just an average player , who wouldn't and couldn't get into the Leigh team , he seems to have found his niche in the Fax team , but has reached his peak , personally I think Fax have better .

As does Murrell it seems.

Different players fit different teams charlie you should know that. Look at Sam Barlow, couldnt get in the Fax first team ahead of players like Bracek who were constantly better than him.

Sam Barlow was the best prop we have had under Harrison's reign.The only reason he wasn't in the team was because Harrison couldn't work with him.Bracek is decent and didn't deserve to be dropped IMO but has nowhere near the ability of Barlow.

Really? I remember him having just 2 really good games for us and the season he ended up leaving he was shocking. Remember the game away to Fev or the game at Hunslet? He may have the ability but the fact he has had nearly as many clubs as Tiger Woods does suggest he does not know how to harness that ability, it also shows what a fine job Rowley has managed to do with him this year. Anyway I wouldnt have Barlow in my team over Ambler any day of the week and I would think most coaches and players would say the same.
