| I'd imagine though Fev are going to have to go through a period of change, the majority of the squad there now (if not all) have been signed or retained by DP, its a team built to play to his methods. In a similar way to how Rhino has overhauled the squad at Halifax from what he inherited to how he wants it to be.
If Fev can appoint a coach who plays a similar style then the transition won't be as tough, but most coaches work in different ways, and while there is a talented crop of players at Fev, a new man may have transfer targets in mind, and may look to move some of the current players on to make space. There's also the possibility that the new man may not get on with some of the current players, so there will be a natural turnover.
Coaches come and go, but as long as the board get the right man and give him the backing. it shouldn't be too detrimental in the long term.

I know what people are saying but sport is a cut throat business and if you look at Man U in football do they and their glory fans care they dominated the Premier League this season winning it with 8 games to go?
No.

| Fev fans love Tonka but can't see him being a target for us in the near future as our props have unquestionably been the strength of the Rovers team this season, even when we weren't playing so well. He's a terrific player but I'm not sure many Fev fans would want England or Crossley dropped to make way for him, and James and Bostock have been excellent off the bench too. Obviously, I doubt Fax would want to let him go either.

| ah sorry, with you now. Don't know what funds Daryl will have at Cas but one thing's for sure, he will know who all the quality players in the Championship are, at Fev and elsewhere.

| Well done to Cas for picking one of the best British coachs in the game, done a brilliant job at Fev & its nice to see a change in clubs picking washed up second rate aussies.
Would not suprise me if Sheridan took over at Fev, Dickens might be a outside bet though.
Wonder if Powell takes a few fev lads with him, worthington must be a cert if he does.

| He could also do Fev a favour by poaching a few Fax and Shefield players to go to Cas as well !!
