I mean in the 2nd half with about 15 minutes to go we should have had 2 last tackle penalties where the Fev player didnt clear the ruck and where Penky ran at 3 offside players who attempted to tackle him. I thought the ref today could have penalized Fev a lot more than he did but anyhow, does this make us WWE champions?

Powell and Aston are part of the old guard of RL and still yield undue influence with their Hetherington mates. They are the biggest whiners in the game but thankfully we still have strong officials who don't bow to their bitterness.

Fax were absolutely awesome yesterday - it was like watching an NRL side - so much intensity. We dominated them - simple as that. Featherstone Chokers? Not today I don't think - it was NEVER going to be their day with Fax performing like that.

They are renaming their stadium this week - "little fella's stadium" - and it'll be "reopened" by that little man - Daryll Powell.

Barlow was awesome wasnt he? Absolutely ripped in to them time and time again, not only does he play the pantomime villain but he also backs it up with his actions on the field and Fev couldn't handle him. We proved we are a Champion team once again backed up by the best fans.

Barlow, surprised nobody has mentioned the bottle that was thrown at him that started the whole incident! Not an excuse but we still must have some context.

But lets move on. If this is the worst that happened all day then I will happily accept it because nobody actually got hurt. An amazing game with one small and insignificant unsavoury moment. I can understand DP's frustrations at the end; to be out played and out coached in a final must be very embarrassing and frustrating! However, as a coach (and player) there is a way to conduct yourself and he hasn't done well on that front.

I don't hate either Powell or Aston. They are both passionate British coaches who want nothing more than the very best for their respective teams, as does Rhino.

As for Sam. Whilst you can not condone spitting (if it happened) you also cannot condone a bottle being thrown at him (if it happened). You also cannot condone the antics of the flat cap wearing idiot who was frothingat the mouth shouting him to come over, at the end.

Like someone else said if that's the only incident of the day then its nothing. I met many Featherstone fans over the day and it was a great day out.

Powell has no class whatsoever. STFU and be a bit more gracious in deteat.

At what minute of the game did this allegedly happen? Looking at the photos the Fev fans could be even further away from him than I first thought. It will be on camera though and if it did happen something will come of it. If nothing does then you can be pretty sure that it didnt. The beauty of it been held at a footy ground and been Fev fans in attendance means that CCTV is on at all times, hence a Fax fan getting led out for underage drinking.

It seems that DP is giving his players less support than the Fax fans did who gave them a standing ovation when they went to pick up their medals.

Just as we did last year when we lost to Leigh.

Some seem to take losing better than others.

Nice little fine coming Powell's way i should imagine for his comments about the standard of refs, will top is day off perfectly.

There's no doubting DPs qualities as a coach.

But after their victory at shay and seeing KH going off on one (looking a bit daft) on Prem Sports you would have thought DP would have learn't something.

His comments yesterday were childish and not of the quality you would expect from a coach of his abilities.

I often wonder who gets these penalties that coaches complain go against them. Somebody must be winning the penalty count somewhere.

Last week we had Jason Demetriou complaining about the heavy penalty count. Penalty count ? 11-11 - FACT.

Would just like to say congratulations, you were the better team on the day and deserved the win. Can understand powell being dissappointed after losing same as kh was earlier in the season, emotions run high sometimes.

I thought it was a great match, a real old battle with both teams giving it there all. Also i thought both sets of fans were good and i had good craic with a few fax fans before match. Good look for rest of season and hopefully we'll meet again in final but with us winning lol.
I think the more teams that tick the box for sl the better, the rfl cant ignore as all.

I really hope this accusation against Sam didn't happen, or the bottle throwing incident. It must have happened ( if at all ) before the last try 'cos there weren't too many Fev fans left after that score. Disappointing not wanting to applaud either your own team or the winners off at the end of an epic tussle.
Powell really has let himself down in my opinion,him approaching 'Fax players in that manner after the game was unprofessional to say the least & his comments were shallow.

Can I firstly say well done Fax on your win your defence was great yesterday and your coach got his tactics spot on you never know we might get a chance to play you again this season

Regarding the Barlow incidents firstly giving us fans the V sign and telling us to F off is very unprofessional but i could live with that then later spitting towards the crowd is disgusting and should not be allowed as for the alleged throwing of a bottle I didn't see that but Barlow did pick a programme up so that may of been thrown and if true that should also be delt with

Regarding the fans I had a great weekend with our own and the Halifax fans and hope to have some great time in the future with you

I haven't seen the Powell interview so cannot comment but I wouldn't worry to much. Karl accused us of cheating a couple of week ago but they know what they are doing and I have reason to believe they will still be good friends

Coaches should send there 2nd in command out after the game to do an interview if there hyped up, because there going to come out with some shiiiiite they will later regret. As for the game i half expected the result and i left straight after the game because couldnt be d to clap anyone afterwards. As for Barlow you can let him off for a bit of showboating he obviously is a decent lad for what he did for Tangi Roparti, but if he has spit into the crowd thats out of line and he could get arrested for that and would deserve it
