Absolutely. It might keep them out of the playoffs and the income that comes along with it at best but it's not a big enough penalty.
[i Quote ="The Lucky Black Cat"Whilst I dont want Bradford to disappear I hope that they end up in the Championship 1 and rebuild......No club is too big not to be in SL IMHO'" [/i
In fact they'd make a good addition to our league with some good banter but with the lower leagues being restructured it's just not going to happen. I pees me off when I hear "SL is where we rightfully belong" coming from any club. No club has a right, it has to be earnt (more off the field than on these days).

True that about no club has a right to be in SL, look at football even the mighty Glasgow Rangers are at the mercy of their peers and it is not certain that when they all vote they will put Rangers back in the SPL, same goes for football clubs like Darlington who have been demoted down the leagues and even our very own FC Halifax Town who had to drop down 3 leagues to start again.
If Bradford have to start as a NewCo as they call it they SHOULD be put in our league at best but technically in Championship 1 but I think that would be too low down due to the size of their support.
On support it will be interseting to see what their crodws will be once they startg again and charge a proper entrance fee to stop them losing money? Its okay saying we get 11K every week but when they pay about half the going rate its technically only as good as 5500 full paying speccies.
Thing is Bradford have done this before back in 1964 yet WE have existed for 139 years and been on the verge but never gone completely bust and been liquidated have we?

I have insufficient information but I'll assume that's true.
But that doesn't mean they have assets. Huddersfield have a deficit running into millions. They are substantially owned by one of Ken Davy's companies.
[iJust picked that out as an example.[/i

| Thats the point I am making though. The majority of owners are involved with their clubs because they support them. Should no wealthy Bradford supporter come forward, then there is little hope because there are no assets for any potential investor.

Yes I picked up on that but as I mentioned earlier it was also said that 2 payments had been made.
1 of 1.2 Million and 1 of 1.3 million for the Harris poaching / compensation package.
Who recieved these payments?
Was it Leeds and if so allthough they must have won the case and be entitled to them it's not very good to take the cash and potentially send another club out of buisness, I mean afterall we are one Rugby League Family.
Or no that was in different era.

Ah ... right ....
Well, in that case, how do Fax survive ? Or Sheffield ? Making a profit or summat ?
Jeez - if you have to have a rich supporter to survive the game needs to close down now.

Strange, just looked at the Bulls Forum, thought there might be an insight into what's going on.
All there is, is, "who hates Leeds more"

Hopefully but Big Nige and his friends want it to be in SL! The whole thing from the way Bradford have managed things to how the RFL gave the Bulls a SL licence with a grade B should be investigated.

| I feel Voldemort Caisley's presence. The man who started the Bulls demise will be back to pick up a cheap deal. His associate was stood next to Guilfoyle at yesterday's meeting.
It's going to happen and he'll hail himself as a saviour and the RFL will lap it up and rubber stamp the new license. As you were by the end of August everyone . . . .

As far as I understand it, the RFL pay each Super League club a monthly amount of the SKY money (I think) and that the administrator has asked for this up front.

2 instalments , or it used to be, I'd suggest they would have already had this years by now

| There will also have to be more " assistance" from Red Hall as well I shouldn`t wonder. If Bradford are lucky enough to find someone/group to pump over a million or so in, before they commit they would likely want cast iron assurances they will not be relegated.Noones going to commit that kind of money and find themselves in Champ 1 where it may take years to get out they will want Super League .

excactly! so if an investor comes forward and Bradford are saved, then they somehow get given a licence next time around it will be quite clear that the RFL has made assurances to the new owners.
level playing field? mmmmmmmmm....no.
