| Quote ="RED LEAGUE"The only teams Fax are better placed than are Quins and Wrexham Crusaiders. The rest have bigger crowds will have on par/better stadiums than fax when complete. Fax don't have a good academy or youth set up like nearly all the SL teams and most of all all those clubs will have more money and be financially better off , so to say you are better placed is just ignorant.'"
If Fax or any other team were to be in Super League then their crowds would be higher, more home support and a lot more away support from the bigger following from SL clubs.
Were's the logic in comparing the crowd levels from a current SL team to a Championship side.
Bigger crowds generates more money, more money from SL, more sponsership etc, so were's the logic in comparing the finances from a curent SL club to a championship club.
Sorry mate but there isn't any.

| I would love for a few of these SL muppets to know what its like to be cast adrift in the Championship.
I just cannot wait now to hear the next installment of the spineless charlatans at Red Hall. July cannot come soon enough for me.

I didn't mean that , I meant is it right that because a club is unhappy , and voices its unhappiness at a decision that is held against them as you suggest
How childish would that be , surely an organisation like the RFL should be able to rise above that ? , you are suggesting they aren't
You will also say that a club should rise above public criticism , well you are right , except if that club has spent tens of 1,000's of pounds and the jobs of its workers put in jeapody and the emotions of its lifelong customers are treated with distain , it is possibly a bit understandable
Wouldn't you say ?
Or in your opinion are the RFL beyond criticism ? maybe they could get Mr Gadaffi as the next CEO , he'll be out of a job shortly

You go on like Halifax have been hard done by, where you are now is your own clubs fault for spending money you didnt have back in the early 2000s, therefor being relegated the year later due to the awful team that followed the mass clearout of star players such as Dunemann and Mckenna and Clinch. The last licence period in 2008 you were no where near ready for SL, this year you probably are but Widnes are in a clearly better position. Listen yeah i know its a kick in the balls not being given the decision but don't go on like you being in the lower league's is no fault of your own because its !

By that logic we should have been promoted after winning the league last year. However we are still in the Championship and therefore have been hard done by.

And so should Barrow have been? And if your going to be pedantic then Fetherstone should have been promoted under the original winner finishes top system, they too have been hard done by too then have they.
Rules change all the time in sport and just because they don't benefit your club you moan and groan about it, i doubt if it were you promoted thursday there would be one single person on here disagreeing with the RFL's decision.

What a cock, Obviously no one would be arguing the decision. Salford is a hole so dont pretend all high and mighty, you were down here a few years ago and might yet be depending on your stadium built.
Why are you on here exactly and to argue what ?. Shouldn't you just toddle off now.

Seen as the steelwork is going up at the Salford site I think they've done at bit more than "roll out".
www.salfordstadium.com/webcam.htm plus the detailed applcation for the Cas ground is recommended for approval by the council next Thurday.

Rubbish mate, hard done by i don't think so dozens of Fax fans have sent well done and all the best messages to Widnes.
Secondly if Halifax are being hard done by then the game is being hard done by.
This isolating of one club is another by product of self preservation that supporters are now adopting as a result of the RFL's current managment.
It should not be us or them it should us and you, if we are divided then sooner or later the inevitable cycle of the changes in each clubs fortunes will catch up with everybody. Us today you sometime in the future.

| Quote ="shelfsox"Today was the worst kept secret since Ricky Martin admitted he was gay.
Got a hand it to Mr Lewis for his performance today, up there with Colin Firth that lad. How he managed to keep a straight face when congratulating Widnes for their onfield success was amazing. By time they play in Super League it will have been 2.5 years since they won a knockout cup that allowed them to apply.
With league finishes of 6th, 4th and 5th since last licenses announced ('we spent our money on youth instead of 1st team blah blah...). Please don't mock us Mr Lewis by applauding this 'success' when the other applicant has finished 3rd, 2nd and 2nd during the same period and are the current champions (even if Fev do have the t-shirt and badges). Widnes were a shoo-in from that day in Blackpool....not sour grapes as think they deserve it for off-field set up, stadium and the backing they have but don't make out their onfield performances helped them.
Just wish I had a CAD drawing business in the Wakefield or Manchester areas, could be quids in for the next 3 months.
If RFL can honestly say that Crusaders, Catalans, Quins, Salford and Cas are better placed than us (nailed on Wakefield will drop out) come July then that will be me finished with the game after 30 years. Already disillusioned, missing out again in July will be final nail in the coffin for me when we've been most consistent side over the past 3 years and have now been told we meet all the criteria.'"
I completely agree but I would be sorry to see Wakefield come down over the likes of Celtic & Quins, they have as much history as we do. Equally I would be upset if Halifax were the ones to replace them.
I'm as annoyed by the RFL as anyone but I am not convinced that going up to SL this season is really the right thing for us. The start of the season shows this, I want to go to SL and be a contender & at the minute, we are not one. Credit to all the back room staff & players, I hope they can keep the faith & keep striving for us to be the best.
The revolutionary in me says, we mere supporters should not take the RFL's guff anymore & raise up as one but I know that is not likely. Lets leave our bitterness now & get behind the lads so they can show the RFL once again that WE ARE CHAMPIONS.
