His performance at Bramhall Lane against us was Kilroy-esque. Very exciting player.
I'll give Mark Aston a ring .........................

Seriously? He was constantly crashing into the defense knocking defenders to the ground. The problem being after he did so, he wouldn't look for the offload, he'd just try and crash back into someone else.

What I would call a TV prop, i.e. looks good cos it runs the ball in hard with a big impact but didn't make enough yards, ball retention was poor and give away too many pens. We didn't miss him in the last 6 weeks of the season.

Ive suggested the same myself elsewhere, he;s a good player, with lots of potential, dont think he'd be too costly and could be a shrewd signing

Why would he do that then ?. Is he allowed to do this ?.
Do we know if Bradford have actually released him yet as another rumour was he was coming back to the shay.

| Just as a name to throw into the equation, and with us already taking one player on a dual reg from the Giants, What about Greg McNally if indeed we do lose Branno for whatever reason,
Full time training at The Giants coupled with first team rugby with us could benefit both partys

| Good player to sign would be the Nigerian Oldham winger, has plenty of pace and seemed decent. Put Paterson in centres. Forgotten his name.

Gleeson, Penky, Beswick? That Bowman kid if needs must? He was brought in mainly to cover injuries on a next to nothing pay packet wasn't he?
You already have 3 top class hookers and 2 top class Championship half backs which any side would love to have that strength in depth there. (Remember salary cap cut backs ). I got the feeling Holyrood was more of a luxury (& cracking one as worked out) in your squad rather than an actual required squad member.

| in 2009 we had no recognised #6, we only have one for next year as it stands in Danny Jones,
Holroyd was a luxury, but if we could utilise a player such as McNally on the DR system then why not

If it was Black leaving I'd say McNally was a perfect replacement. But if we're wanting to replace Holroyd we need a half back who's a expert in creating trys, not scoring them.
Anyway, we've got Bowman in cover. Why knock him down the pecking order?
Black, Bowman, Jones and Branighan? No need to bring anyone in, just yet.
